I remember vividly as a child there was a horror puzzle game on our tablet - it was a series, actually. We were obsessed with them. There was a single one, it had to do with a family that was missing, a dad, mom, and daughter, I think. When you finally found them, they were trapped in this fucked-up looking gooey thing? like a big ol blob. And the blob was like a demon or alien or something (I think demon)

And I'm fucking desperate to find the name of it, because I never ever got to finish this one. It was the only one I never finished. I couldn't complete it because every time I played, I got stuck on this one part of the game that wouldn't let you progress

Another game of the same maker(?) had a game with time travelling, and in one part of the game, when you time travelled it had the like corpse/skeleton of the sick woman you were supposed to help at one point? The lady was like a witch with a bunch of herbs around, or maybe she was the witch's daughter?
