i remember your 'i have no mouth and i must scream' playthrough, it's a shame those vids are gone. do you think you'll replay it or games by those same creators/devs?
WHAT a game THAT was. WOW, right?! Unfortunately, if I spent the time necessary to replay games from my old channel, I wouldnât have time to work on my game or play anything new. I had to mourn my old channel when it was deleted. I said âthank youâ to each of those videos and games and had to let them go. I will never forget my time with those games and the awesome bonds I formed with all of you in the process. Sometimes we have to bury parts of our old selves... but there has to be a grave for there to be a resurrection. Keep your eyes peeled for my game when itâs ready to come out, frand!
heyo!! i just found your youtube channel maybe like ten minutes ago and I just wanna say youâre super cool!!! iâm sendinâ over those good vibes to ya and i hope you get âem! âď¸
Good vibes RECEIVED, frand! Welcome to the channel. â¤ď¸
idk if you've been asked this before but where's the intro you use each vid from?
I made it! I made the music using loops and sound effects from GarageBand, and the voice who says âKip Iconâ is one of the âtext to speechâ voices that I recorded with my phone đ. The video is all royalty-free stock footage I had left over from a projection design course I took in school. Mystery solved! đ

Wow! ThePlushMinister did some digging and unearthed an archived version of my old YouTube channel from August 2013! For those who donât know, my original YT channel and all the videos on it were deleted by my abusive ex. I took a couple years off to mourn losing everything, and boy howdy did the nostalgia ever hit me HARD looking at this!
Unfortunately none of the thumbnail images were archived (they wonât load in) and of course none of the links work anymore. It was still a wonderful surprise and a great feeling to look it over... I can honestly say that building a YT channel and the subsequent community that formed has been the most rewarding experience of my life!
Letting go of the past was hard. I didnât want to move on at first. I wanted to do everything I possibly could to get back what I worked so hard to build. But nothing I did (and I fought HARD) could bring back the deleted channel. It wasnât right. It wasnât fair. And yet! Moving on helped me grow immeasurably.Â
I donât know if recording letâs plays regularly is in the cards for the future. Iâve been immersing myself in game design and find so much joy and satisfaction there. Iâm not leaving completely or anything, The YT (and online) landscape has changed so much, and I donât have the kind of motivation I used to have to try and keep up. All I can say is THANK YOU for all the love and support over the years, and I CANâT WAIT to release my game for everyone to enjoy when itâs ready.
Relentlessly following my drams,
-Kip <3
hey Kip! You have no clue who I am, but I saw your latest post and it hit me with so much nostalgia. I subscribed to you when you were still on YouTube years ago, when you were still playing OFF. I loved all of your videos, and you introduced me to so many amazing games, which I still love today. Thank you so much for everything you've done, as a Let's Player, and as a game designer. Your game looks incredible, and when it comes out, I can't wait to play it! Follow your drams!
Such an outpouring of support today! Youâre the best. Canât wait for you to play it! â¤ď¸
