If not then keep in mind that it's kinda bittersweet in a way? when put in the context as a end song. and i ALSO heard that apparently, you can just NOT rescue sonic's friends. they're optional i guess? Ok- lemme revive this blog for a bit and just say this about the new kirby game:

Since the forgotten land is... Well, another world/planet, would it have a star rod?

I mean what are the chances of it having one?

...Ok, i just want a heartfelt cutscene near the end of the game where Kirby has a nightmare and is comforted by Elfilin.
