R slur is slur . R slur was previously diagnosis , that become slur , because people so violent hate intellectual disability . is insult by compare to intellectual disability , because think intellectual disability worthless .

can not speak for literally all others with intellectual disability , no , but in general from what see and who talk to , very few people with intellectual disability actually want see this word , and often think not even worth take back .

so . be quiet about right to " take back " R slur with autism , with ADHD , with anything other than intellectual disability . many actual people with intellectual disability do not want this word to even exist anymore .

where other groups might have movements to take back words , intellectual disability movement is to remove that word . both movement types can be right - which one work better depend on group - and should respect .

so . honestly , just want people forget word even exist .

So this isn’t specific to the kotlc community or even a large part of it, but it’s definitely been happening here!!

For some reason people in the kotlc community have been receiving rude and straight up bullying messages in their ask box’s??

And I don’t think I have to explain why this isn’t okay but I’ve actually seen it happening quite a lot here and I’ve only been active on kotlcblr for less than a year.

So I’m making this post to bring attention to it because that is SUPER UNCOOL. There is no excuse for sending hate in people’s asks??

We’re all reading the same book series but obviously people come to different conclusions or opposing opinions that doesn’t mean you can/should send hate or honestly bother people at all in their ask box, if you want to disagree you can always have a respectful discussion in reblogs on a relevant post. That way you can take responsibility for what you say instead of being rude while anonymous.
