Song #219
Headcase by Derivakat
It was released on October 27, 2023
Fun Fact: “Headcase” is the second song in October 2023 (after “Bite”) that did have a teaser for a music video before its release date. Consequently, it was the only song from the EP that released without a corresponding music video or teaser post on its official release date. Derivakat eventually revealed the song in the EP’s tracklist announcement post on Twitter/X a day after it released, and the music video the following month.

Song #218
He’s Back (The Man Behind The Mask) by Alice Cooper
It was released in 1986 in his album Constrictor
Fun fact: The song features the famous "ki-ki-ki ma-ma-ma" (in its popular misheard version, "ch-ch-ch, ha-ha-ha") sound effect, a trademark of the Friday the 13th series. The song has also been described as celebrating the return of series antagonist Jason Voorhees, after being killed off in the fourth film Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) and appearing only in flashbacks and hallucinations in the fifth installment Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985).

Song #206
Crocodile Rock by Elton John
It was released in 1973 in his album Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only The Piano Player
Fun fact: In a 1974 lawsuit filed in the US District Court of Los Angeles by attorney Donald Barnett on behalf of "Speedy Gonzales"' composer Buddy Kaye, it was alleged that defendants John and Taupin illegally incorporated chords from "Speedy Gonzales" which produced a falsetto tone into the "Crocodile" song co-written by defendants. The parties reached a settlement between them and the case was then dismissed.
