It’s so rewarding to see the efforts of one’s gardening endeavors come to fruition! The snapdragons (the pink flowers in the upper-left of the pot) were absolutely beautiful today, and the plants are growing nicely overall!

Hi everyone, I come to you with a very important cause today. In Canada, the United States and elsewhere, disabled youth are often being forced into nursing homes and hospitals (whether it be for mental illness or to await housing placement.) These lists are years long and can even render disabled people homeless with little support. The problem is that the government in these places does not care enough to fund more personal support workers to come into disabled people’s homes. The disabled person ends up not getting their needs met and is forced to leave home to a nursing home or hospital. It’s time we take a stand against the institutionalization of disabled people once and for all.
