To Hook a Star

Part 1/james’s point of view

James had no idea his dog was doing, escaping every night just to end up in the shelter down the block. Sparky only had started doing it in recent times, yet still no clue what he thinks by accomplishing here. I mean and such a random place to, the only real connection he had to that animal shelter is that it’s owned by his best friends little brother. But it’s not like he KNOWS regulus that well OR THINKS about him that much. The only reason sparky would even know who regulus is when they visited him at the shelter that one time, to give him a basket of muffins purely platonically. Because that’s how James feels about him, purely platonic. Besides all he had to do was call him up and he can get sparky back home. Looking down at his phone he had regulus saved as ‘Regulus❤️’ which is like super platonic. He hit the dial up button.

regulus’s point of view in part 2 just wrote this one really short cause didn’t know how this was going to go as my first fanfic so just let me know if I should keep going.

part 2/ regulus’s point of view

His phone had started ringing as he had expected. He looked down and to his astonishment or maybe disappointed it wasn’t James. Sparky had shown up half an hour ago and still no call, the first couple of times this happened James had just come down to the shelter and picked him up. But then they both agreed that it would be easier if they had each others numbers so to call and make arrangements to pick him up either that night or if it was pass 12 then the next morning. He recognised the ID as a spam caller who’d already contacted him 3 times that week. Sparky looked at him with those big puppy dog eyes probably wanting a treat, which he would happily give to him. “Aww do you want a treat?” As soon as he had mentioned food the old dogs tail started wagging none stop. Still no phone call, regulus was concerned. Did something happen, did he get hurt, did the house burn down. He hadn’t smelled smoke but it was still a possibility. I mean it’s normal to get stressed about a friend right, it’s not like he’s had a crush on him since the 5 grade. Since his older brother introduced both of them, since James smiled at him with a smile that was like a thousand suns. There was a tiny bit of him that knew that he was in love with this man but he didn’t want to admit it.

His phone rang again, this time it was James.

In my opinion I think Christopher has like more wisdom then any else in the show combined.
