Lance Was Flung Into A Tree By Keiths Strength. He Shook His Head And Snarled. His Prey Was Not Going

Lance was flung into a tree by Keith’s strength. He shook his head and snarled. His prey was not going to get away from him that easily. He got up and made to chase after the now transformed Keith again but was stopped by a sudden pain that bloomed through his neck.

He shrieked and grabbed at his neck. When he pulled his hand away, he was holding a tranq dart. Angered, he looked up to find shiro several meters away, reloading his tranq gun.

Lance snarled and made to charge at shiro.

Shiro struggled to get the tranq dart into the gun while glancing up at lance. He barely had enough time to get the gun loaded before he was tackled to the ground by the vampire.

The gun flew out of his hand and landed just an inch out of reach. It was now a struggle to hold Lance at bay with his robot arm, while trying to grab the gun with the other.

Lance snapped and hissed in shiro’s face trying to get at his neck.

“*grunt* GUYS! I need some help here! Quick! Lance has me pinned!” Shiro shouted. He hoped that one of the other paladins would be able to reach them before it was too late. He could only hold Lance back for so long…

Shiro shakes his head. “No, no crawling in there pidge, you might end up getting stuck as well. And it’s a little dangerous to use the lions. They’re big and bulky, even the smallest wrong move could end up crushing the rebels. We’ll do it by hand. Keith, Lance, hunk and I are strong enough to lift most of the rubble. Pidge, when we get to them, you will help the rebels climb out and treat them for injuries. Now Let’s start digging them out!”

After issuing his orders, they all got to work. Eventually after some time they managed to dig their way to the trapped rebels. While shiro and Lance held up some stubborn beams, hunk, Pidge and Keith helped get the rebels out.

Shiro frowned. “Easy there! Calm down. We’ll look for your son sir.”

Shiro looked around the remains. “It’s going to take forever to search through all this rubble…” he lamented.

“Let me give it a shot shiro.” Lance came up beside him.

Lance looked around the rubble, activating his unique vampire senses. His vision turned from normal to seeing near black. Everything was outlined but he wasn’t trying to see the landscape. He was looking for the little alien child…

He walked around, His eyes sweeping the debris, looking left to right.

After a few minutes of searching, his eyes landed on a small red dot with veins coming out of it. The red dot was pulsing… slowly…

“Shiro I found him!” Lance shouted. He rushed to the pulsing red and began digging through the rubble.

Shiro rushed over to help Lance dig the child out…

“oh! Right! Yes we can check that up on the bridge! Follow me.” Coran forgot that they had to keep track of the lunar cycles on planets they visit. Since both Keith and lance are effected by specific phases of the moon.

He began walking with Keith following behind. Once on the bridge, he pulled up a video screen to check the lunar cycle of the planet.

“Now let’s see here… mmm… ah! Here we are!….. oh well that is interesting. As it appears, the planet “dada mapacha” has twin moons. They orbit the planet in different directions so the planet has two lunar cycles!”

Lance mentally kicked himself for forgetting about their little issues with moons. How could he forget something so crucial?!

Lance got tugged along. He tried to run but he could already feel the pull of the blood moon.

He struggled to answer Keith. “I-I go feral! If I’m not restrained, I’ll attack everyone around me! Keith we’re not goi-“ Lance couldn’t finish speaking. Only stuttering guttural sounds came out of him. The blood in his veins were surging with powerful energy. His eye narrowed into slits as he glanced up at the moon.

A moon that was turning blood red.

His fangs lengthened and ached with the need to sink into flesh. His mind clouding with the desire to hunt… to feed. Friend, foe or neutral, none of it registered anymore. All that mattered was there was food around him and he needed to feed.

He looked back at Keith blindly and unseeing. There was no recognition in his eyes. All he saw was food in front of him.

His mouth hung open and he hissed in hungry anticipation. He wanted to tear into Keith’s neck and drain every drop of blood he had.

His grip tightened on Keith and he leaned close to him, primal hunger driving his actions.
