It bugs me when people are unnecessarily mean. Like, you didn’t have to make that comment. You could have just kept your mouth shut and left that person not feeling bad about themselves. What do you gain from making someone else feel like shit? Nothing of substance. Maybe a fleeting moment of power but that’s gone as soon as it comes so why? There’s enough unhappiness in the world without you adding to it.

Man, i saw your post and that got me thinking. Like i imagine they aren't really sexual/horny people, so doing it is almost an special occasion, but out of the two, Izuku is definitely the most.

But the first time they have been presented with this concept, it was Izuku who kept overthinking how they were going to do it and prepared himself first, only for that first time to come out of nowhere, and be totally sloppy. No time for show it's a "if i don't have him right now i'm going to die" kind of thing. And that becomes their pattern.

Also i hc that this is why Kacchan tops more often, bc most of the time, it ends up being like this, and Kacchan doesn't think that much about it either way. (+He didn't prepare himself at all until at one point he decides to, but Izuku doesn't mind).

Yeah I definitely agree with you take on that, I think characterization of either characters as hyper stereotypes of so called « masculinity » and « femininity » something that overall annoys me, because it just strays so far from their overall characterization and personality. It also promotes stereotypes I think on gay male relationships in general. I remember this tweet that said something along the lines of « You’re saying the same Deku that said “Give him (Kacchan) back to me is a bottom”? » Which kinda frustrated me cause I mean? Strong or assertive people can be bottoms, those two things are not mutually exclusive, and also people who dom can also be bottoms, there’s so rule saying that they can’t.

That is to say though, I don’t read Bkdk smut fan fiction, I just ended up sticking my nose in discourse on Twitter, and had my nose stuck in there for like a year before I decided to just avoid it all, and comment on it with that post.
