While It Had Its Low Points In Terms Of Storytelling, Echo Was One Of The Best Marvel Projects I Had

While it had its low points in terms of storytelling, Echo was one of the best Marvel projects I had seen for a long time, TV show OR movie.
I'm torn because I want a second season to explore Maya's powers and her changed relationships but also it was so good as a miniseries.
Hopefully Maya will be in an upcoming movie first.

I love doing color blocking so this is my attempt for The Acolyte, just something in honor of the show.

I had a slight argument with someone about Toby Ziegler since it's the 25th anniversary of the show.
His ending/departure is pretty disliked across the board, but I argued that him falling on his sword COULD'VE worked.
Firstly, they needed to set up his family life more (remember, he had twins!) He wanted to he involved, have him spend more and more time with them.
Then, have the catalyst be something small. He's a communication guy who finds something or says something that can't be written away like before. Times are changing.
Being kinda alone now as almost everyone has moved on (which builds on that argument with Josh) he starts to panic a little and ends up makes things worse for himself by running his mouth.
He's prideful though and doesn't admit complete fault because things are still salvageable.
Things pile up and Toby manages to get out of the situation with the help of CJ. There are some consequences, Bartlett is upset, but nothing as serious as before.
BUT Toby is an idealist with a strong moral compass. How he got out of the situation was 100% not what he believed in.
This disillusionment and being pulled in different directions now means he can't truly focus on either his family or the job.
He decides that he wants to put his family first now and resigns.
Boom. The writers get to have him be selfless, but not disgraced.
PSA:
“Asexuality” is a sexual orientation describing little to no sexual attraction
“Ayyyyy, sexuality!” is a guy at a bar imitating Chandler from Friends while talking about sexuality
“Aye, sexuality,” is a pirate giving his kids ‘the talk’
learn and know the difference!

I ended up never watching the finale to this show even though I'm such a fan. At this point I know enough about it to not be stressed the whole time but part of me likes that, in my mind, it hasn't ended.
Yeah sure closure but like....no.

If this is true.....oh no.
