Hi! I recently found out about Ellipsus and signed up for it, but I wanted to ask, as a precaution/curiosity, what is your stance on fanfiction being written using the program? I assume it's OK, but I wanted to be sure just in case. Hope to give it a test soon!
Since we've (myself + my partner/co-founder) been writing fic for... about twenty years (shoutout to the fandom olds and strikethrough survivors)... we're very pro-fanfic, to put it mildly!
Anything you want to write in Ellipsus is yours, is allowed, and is awesome. Go forth, friend! ❤️🔥

“Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one.”
— Thomas Paine, Common Sense
Hey guys, in light of the news about Liam Payne from One Direction, if anyone of you want to talk, I'm here for you.
Mental health is important, so please look after yourselves and take time to do something you love today
This is what happens when I have free time and I focus on my philosophy projects (I have 1.4k words written on the subject just from today)
The most common opinion across the media seems to be that money is a curse. It’s hated yet wanted as much as any other temptation that is natural to the human mind. It is the physical representation of greed, showing that the only thing creating this evil is the human mind. This idea relates to the concepts of ‘sin’ or ‘karma’ that could be applied throughout religious studies of theology or philosophy. The importance of this fact only highlights how little we can state about our monetary society and how much painstaking time it would take to improve it. Afterall, money has caused war, death and destruction. Surely the cause of all of this evil must be condemned just as we would condemn a fellow human for an atrocious crime such as murder? Or perhaps because it also benefits us, money can be considered a necessary evil.

if you’re staring at your screen in despair, just remember: so are most writers. solidarity.
