The Lord Will Fulfill His Purpose For Me; Your Love, O Lord, Endures Forever - Do Not Abandon The Works
The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever - do not abandon the works of your hands.
—Psalm 138:8
Jesus has a wonderful plan for your life. Though nothing seems to be happening in your life, be assured God is working out His grand purposes for you.
Prayer: Dear Lord , no matter what’s going on in my life right now, You will preserve me, You will fulfill Your purpose for me, and You will never ever leave me or forsake me because I am the work of Your hands. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen

At the Foot of the Cross The Crucifixion
[25] Now there stood by the cross of Jesus, his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalen. [26] When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman, behold thy son. [27] After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own. (John 19:25-27)

Anna never left the temple but worshipped night and day, fasting and praying.Luke 2:37
Today let's look at the interesting character, Anna from the Bible. Married for only seven years, she spent the long years of her widowhood fasting and praying in the temple. A prophetess, she was one of the first to bear witness to Jesus.
As a young widow, she would have been the most vulnerable in the society. Perhaps she was lonely, I wonder whether she even had a child or a family to go back to. But all her devotion to her God paid a rich dividend when she saw the King Himself, as He was brought to the temple. All those years of waiting ended in her meeting the Messiah face to face. Are we devoted like Anna? Are we in anticipation of meeting our Saviour one day?
We adore Thee O Christ and we bless Thee, because by Thy Holy Cross Thou hast redeemed the world.
Families are important - so important that the family is referred to as the "Domestic Church" in the Catechism. Mothers & Fathers have a duty to provide for the basic necessities of their children, to display the feminine & masculine virtues respectively to them, to provide a good example of male/female domestic cooperation.
The family is so important that Our Lord entrusted himself to a family during his Incarnation. He entrusted himself to the protection noble St. Joseph, a strong, hardworking, devout man, who taught Our Lord not only his profession, but how to be a virtuous & upright man. He entrusted himself to Our Blessed Lady, who nurtured him without coddling him, sang the Psalms to him as he fell asleep in her arms, and who did everything in her power to provide a happy home for him & St. Joseph, even in spite of poverty & exile.
Let us pray to Our Blessed Mother Most Admirable for an increase in motherly virtue across the world, and to St. Joseph the Glory of Domestic Life & Pillar of Families for an increase in fatherly virtue across the world. Praised and blessed be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
