I wonder if lovers will kiss under the same tree I'll hang from

an open letter

to anyone who has ever told someone to Jill themselves (whether as a “joke” or genuine); Firstly, stop. Secondly, do you actually know what you’re asking someone to do ? Let’s start on the outside and work our way in. On the outer edge: work mates, peers suddenly lose a part of their life. We zoom in again: friends no longer have a friend, their life is irreversibly altered for the worse. We zoom again: close friends are broken in the wake of tragedy. We zoom in for a final time: partners, lovers, family: broken forever due to an action their loved one was pushed into because of you. One final thing: could you do it ? Because anyone who has ever had suicidal ideation and is still here is stronger than you ever will be. They looked their demons in the face and said “No. No I will not listen to you” and you dishonour them with this ? You’re disgusting, at least have the backbone to stand by your words. Think before you speak.

Queer people are being killed and you’re laughing. You heard me. *Being Killed* (Of course the media will say that they “Died” because language is powerful like that). What are you going to do about this ? Trans people are being pushed to suicide and you’re laughing. What are you going to do about it world ?

This goes for literally anyone. If you’re in Brighton and you see someone with a black denim jacket with “god is dead” on the collar, come say hi. Depending on how I’m feeling I might bite.

as long as I am here

there is nothing to fear

both friends and strangers

will find protection with me

I have seen far too much

no longer will friends suffer abuse

for their love or being

I am the wall against which all hate dies

I am the bastion in shitty cargos
