Artist Appreciation Day

Hewo hewo!! As you can tell by the title, it is artist appreciation day!! Well technically an hour before it in my timezone lol. International Artist Appreciation Day is on October 25th. And for those who's birthday is that day, then happy birthday too!

So, let me tell all you artists this! You art is amazing and it deserves to be loved. It has those little details only you can do. It represents you. So we should love it like it's a thousand year old piece. Those of you may call your art bad and/or ugly, but it doesn't matter to any of us. We will always call it beautiful either way.

It's sad to see amazing artists go through tough times though. Such as their art being stolen, traced, etc. It's a pity... no, a shame, that some people resort to this. Perhaps they were jealous and wanted attention. Who knows because either way, it's wrong to do so.

Anyways, it's amazing to see how you progress through the years. Even if it's little by little. Compare your art from now to 5 years ago. I bet it's different. Thus, you cringe at the art from 5 years ago. Because it's no longer up to your standards. Just like your personality, your art grows with you. So please appreciate your art, because you are criticizing yourself. Draw what you want to draw. Don't let rules get in the way either. And if you're feeling burnt out, take a break. I'm sure everyone will understand. If they don't, then don't listen to them. Us artists are not bots. We do not just generate art. It takes time and effort.
