A Month Later...

Waking up with a sigh you open your eyes. A month later this morning was very visible with the sun in the sky. Light creeping through the cracks of your black curtains. Sitting up slowly you rub the tiredness from your eyes. Stretching with a yawn you soon look around. Finding your blankets wrapped around you nicely and Shadow next to you asleep peacefully. But soon you see you have two notifications from the matchmaking app. Curious you opened up the app. You then smile seeing you had two messages from Tae&Kook. Just like the past few days.

You were never a fan of the whole 'catfishing' thing. It always hurts you to think of such a thing.

But you saw it happen first hand with Elena.

It happened when she first started to get into the whole dating app thing. When she first found the person wasn't who they said they were, it crushed her. And you were there to pick up the pieces. Which you never regretted. But you could never get over how sad and betrayed she was when it happened.

Though after some time she got over it and was more cautious. After some time you were shocked when she wanted to try it again. You tried to stop her at first but it was no use. You were too late and she had already made her profile and was already talking to women. But one of those women happened to be Tiana. And that was the beginning of their love story. Remembering to be safe you knew you had to do it. So gathering the little courage you had. You started typing with one hand while biting your other thumb nail nervously. A sigh of relief fell from your lips causing you to do a little victory dance. Having gotten over the fear to ask them for a picture. "Now Jungkook, go ahead and step back for me please," you demanded softly but firmly of Jungkook. Jungkook had looked back at you with uncertainty. But was soon bumped by Hobi with his head. Hobi was trying to tell him to listen to you.

Looking at the wolf Jungkook nodded and got off of James and went back to sitting on the sofa. James was on his front and was wiggling trying to get to Taehyung. You had soon stopped him by kicking him in the face. A muffled groan left him through the tape over his mouth.

"Now you can stop that James. You're not getting Taehyung nor Jungkook. And you know that," you sighed, crossing you arms. You were so tired of this raid altogether. It was quiet as you looked down at James who was now shaking as you glared at him. You were thinking of what you were going to do with him. Your thoughts were soon cut off by the clearing of a throat. Turning to the noise you were met with Namjoon holding papers. He had a grim look on his face.

"The safe was there and the code was right. There was a load of money... but these papers were there too. There are others that are trying to overtake your territory." Namjoon answered as he handed you the papers. Taking them from him you started going over them. Sighing, you handed them to Yoongi so he could take a look. Yoongi soon looked at them and sighed and shook his head, and he soon gave them to Jin. Shaking your head, you lifted your hands to your head rubbing your fingers over your temples. As you closed your eyes for a second.

Thinking.

So much was happening and you were beginning to get mad no... you were getting pissed. Shaking your head and turning you looked over to Taehyung. He was curling into himself as he watched you scared but curious. Licking my lips you reached your hand out to him and he took it slowly and hesitantly. Pulling him up to stand you kept a hold of his hand and walked him over to Jungkook. Taehyung instantly went to him as he slowly released your hand. Both of them instantly took a hold of each other.

Looking at the two you smiled then turned your attention back on James. He was still faced down on the ground. An animalistic growl escaped you as you stalked over to him and kicked his ribs. A yelp continued to escape him as you kept kicking him, letting out your frustration. With one last kick you grunted. When you were done you sighed and then fixed your jacket. Turning you sent Yoongi a look to handle him. Which he gave you a nod back as he got off the sofa and walked over to grab James and drag him somewhere.

"Alright Hobi, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Jin with me. Namjoon, please help Yoongi with this mess," you ordered softly. Namjoon nodded and followed after Yoongi. The others of your gang began dragging struggling men in their grasp following Namjoon and Yoongi. As for the ones you ordered to follow you, they followed behind you. As you led them out the building. Walking out of the building you soon paused and took a deep breath of fresh air.

"How do you want to deal with these people, Alpha?" Jin asked from beside you. He soon placed a hand on your back rubbing to comfort you and then guided you to move. The both of you soon walked to the car next to each other keeping pace with one another.

"To be honest Jin I really don't know at the moment. I'll have to really talk it over with everyone," you sighed. You honestly didn't know what to do at the moment with the knowledge you just found out. You knew for a fact that you wanted to get the others' opinion and their thoughts on what to do. Before you took action against these gangs trying to take over your territory.

"Well we'll have to do something soon," he informed you with a grim look. But he soon smiled at you which you returned with your own smile. Your smile soon turned to a frown when you thought of the subject of your conversation.

"I know Jin," you agreed with a sigh, sending a nod his way.

You both finally made it to the car. Taehyung and Jungkook were still huddled up together when you turned around to check up on the hybrids. Hobi and Jimin were still in their animal forms behind the two of them. Seeming to be staying guarded and observing the area around us. This caused you to smile at the two hybrids.

"We'll have to squeeze into this car. Just warning you guys. I'll sit in Hobi's or Jimin's lap," you voiced to the four hybrids. Turning you looked over to see Jin already getting into the driver seat. Walking past you opened the back door for Taehyung and Jungkook who went into the car hesitantly. You ignored their hestiants and gestured to Jimin and Hobi to follow you. Which they did obediently. Once you were at the trunk of the car you tapped on top of the trunk the rings on your fingers making a noise signaling to Jin. You soon was granted with it opening. Reaching into the trunk you took out some clothes from a bag. Turning you were met with Jimin and Hobi both in their human forms with big smiles. Smiling back with a chuckle, you gave them the extra clothes before turning and shutting the trunk.

"You two did good today." you informed them as you turned to them.

"It was a difficult raid but it turned out okay," Hobi explained to you as he buttoned up his pants. He had a wide smile as his tail wagged. Smiling at him you reached up to fix his hair causing his wolf ear to twitch. He soon hugged you which you returned happily. You giggled when you felt a growl come from him when you kissed his cheek close to his lips. You were soon sandwiched between the two hybrids. Because Jimin had joined into the hug wrapping his arms around you from behind. A purr left him as he hugged you and Hobi close to him.

"Yeah it seemed like it. I really hate that James guy. I was getting ready to jump him when he talked nasty about you Y/n," Jimin growled. Hobi soon nodded his head that was buried into your neck scenting you with his own growl. Chuckling you were about to comfort the two but was cut off by Jin shouting from the window.

"Come on you three we gotta get going!" Jin exclaimed from the open window. You chuckled once again hearing the two wrapped around you sigh with a pout. Shaking your head you took their hands and led them to the front of the car. Hobi walked to the front door of the car soon after you gave him a kiss on the cheek. Jimin kept a hold of your hand as you led him to the back door of the car. Opening the door you were met with Taehyung and Jungkook sitting in the middle and window seat. Jimin soon went and sat in the car. Then you were pulled onto his lap soon after. You chuckled at him when he hugged you close. Sitting sideways in his lap youthen wrapped your arms around him. There was a long silence in the car, that is until Hobi turned around in his seat with a big smile. Looking at us, his tail wagging. You could feel Jimin chuckle against you.

"Hi I'm sure you already know but I'm Hobi. I was the wolf that was there with you guys!" Hobi beamed at the two as he waved. You always loved and admired how welcoming and bright Hobi's attitude was. Especially in your line of work. You found it enduring.

"H - Hi," Jungkook stuttered from his seat near the window.

"Calm down Hobi. Sorry about him he can be a bit much. He means well though," Jin reassured Jungkook and Taehyung. Who both looked confused and still scared. You knew he saw this so he was trying to make sure they were comfortable. But as he said what he said Hobi's ears fell flat on his head as he pouted.

"Oh don't worry Hobi we love you the way you are," you gushed. Leaning forward carefully with Jimin still holding you, you reached forward and moved his hair from his eyes. This caused Hobi to blush as a smile came on his face again as he looked at you. After that it seemed everyone went quiet again. Smiling at Hobi and more so to yourself you leaned back into Jimin who hugged you tightly. Turning you looked at the two next to you. Seeing them you watched as the two had looks of confusion.

They were watching the four of us with wonder.

You knew they had questions. But at the moment you were too tired to answer them. Sighing, you took off your heels and unbuttoned your coat. You proceeded to get comfortable and curled up into a ball in Jimin's lap. Soon you placed your head on his shoulder. After a moment you closed your eyes and then felt Jimin place a kiss on your head. Smiling, you snuggled more into his hold. You knew you had a lot to do. You were just so tired at the moment. You really tried to stay up but the last thing you heard was a whisper near your ear.

"It's okay go to sleep love," Jimin soothed.

As you slept the other five were silent. That is until Hobi turned around in his seat with a look blank of emotions. He looked at the two with seriousness. As Hobi looked at them Jimin soon shuffled with you sleeping in his hold and looked at the two with the same expression. Taehyung and Jungkook soon scooted closer together not knowing what was going on or what was happening. Jin knew though and kept his attention on the road. He knew the conversation the hybrids were about to have and would only join if necessary.

"I'm only going to say this once to the both of you. You hurt or put my pack in danger. I will hunt you down with Jimin and it won't be pretty," Hobi growled at the two hybrids who were cowered in the corner of the car. Jimin nodded in agreement. The two knew better than to challenge the wolf and what they guessed to be the cheetah hybrid. And they weren't really surprised at the threat. This was their pack and they were wanting to keep it safe.

"I wouldn't take the threat lightly, it's not just them you have to worry about," Jin threw in as he drove. Understanding the two nodded obediently as they looked at the others.

"Other than that we're heading back to our home. There you can rest for the night we will provide you with the essentials you will need. We will keep our part of the deal... but you need to make a big decision. Join our gang or start anew. Take your time tonight, sit on it, discuss it... whatever. We will send someone for you in the morning and you can meet with all of us. Tell us your decision and ask your questions then. And things will be done according to your decision," Jimin informed the two. As he rubbed your back as you slept.

The two hybrids in the corner of the car gulped and sighed and looked into each other's eyes. Seeming to have a conversation of their own. They had so many questions but knew they needed to talk about what they were going to do with their life. But something was bothering the two and Jungkook couldn't keep it to himself much longer.

"Will we be able to stay together with whatever choice we make?" Jungkook asked the others as he looked at Taehyung. Once hearing this question Hobi and Jimin looked at each other as Jin looked at the two as well. They understood their question and wanted to calm them. They knew the feeling of wanting to stay together.

"Yes, we will make sure to keep you together. Now that is all I wanted to let you know about. We still have a ways to get to our home. So go ahead and rest. You guys can ask more questions tomorrow," Hobi explained and was the first to answer. With a soft smile for the first time since the beginning of the serious conversation. After that the car was silent. Taehyung and Jungkook cuddled close together and rested. Hobi watched as the scenery passed as he reached over and he held Jin's hand. Jimin was purring contentedly as he cuddled into you. You sighed happily in your sleep as you snuggled into Jimin's arms.

A black car could be seen driving down a road alongside trees. Driving, it came to a slow stop and was met with a gated entrance that was hard to spot. Upon coming to the entrance, a camera appeared to move and scan the car as the window began to roll down. As the window rolled down further revealing a man with sunglasses on. A female voice could soon be heard in the air seeming to come from an unseen intercom.

"Please state your name, and business."

"Namjoon, Gamma, and I live here!" Namjoon grunted loud as he took off his glasses as he looked at the camera showing his face fully. A sigh left him as he looked at the camera with narrow eyes. He wasn't in the mood right. Being that he just found out something that was important.

"Yes, sir you may enter," the woman answered as the pressing of buttons could be heard.

"While you're at it tell everyone that we need to have a meeting, it's urgent!" Namjoon shouted as he sped his car through the opening gates. Driving past a patch of trees revealed a huge pristine mansion. As Namjoon stopped abruptly in front of the mansion he was met with a man in a suit. Stepping out of the car he sends the man a small smile and drops his car keys in his hands. Moving he walks and enters the mansion and closes the doors behind him. Turning he was met by two men and one male hybrid.

"What's so urgent that we need a meeting Namjoon," one of the men questioned as he crossed arms.

"Yoongi, we have a problem that I'll explain in the meeting," Namjoon answered the man known as Yoongi or Beta. With that said all of them understood and started their way down a hallway. With a few turns the group was met with a pair of black doors. The third man who's name was Seokjin, Jin, or also known as Delta was the first to open the doors.

Entering the room there was a desk in the middle of the room with a window behind it. Papers were scattered everywhere in piles along with books. The chair behind the desk was a big black cushioned chair that was facing the window. When the group walked in more a full grown cheetah jumped from the front of the chair. The cheetah soon walked over to Yoongi and rubbed against his legs purring. The man smiled at the feline and reached down to pet their head.

"Alpha?" Namjoon was the first to break the silence but wasn't answered. After a few moments Yoongi then stood up fixing his coat and shouted. Upon hearing him shout the cheetah ran out of the room quickly. Knowing they needed to shift quicky and get back soon.

"Y/n!?"

"What the fuck do you want," you growled back at the group from your seat in the chair. Turning the chair around slowly you were revealed. A woman who had long hair that was slicked back into a low ponytail. Along with dark eyes that seemed to be tired and held pain. With your bright red painted lips and black suit with a red tie.

"I told them to tell you that we needed a meeting urgently." Namjoon informed you as he sat in a chair in front of your desk. When he said this the door to the office was opened quickly to reveal a male feline hybrid. He was the cheetah from earlier. Who seemed to be running as he quietly closed the door behind him. Seeing the attention on him he sent a shy smile and went to sit next to Yoongi. Who was sitting on a couch in the office.

"Yeah and you could do the meeting without me and have Yoongi or one of the others report back to me," you said, crossing your arms and legs. As you leaned back in your chair. You were very much aggravated right now. Before the men had come and bothered you, you were in your own little world thinking of things that could have been. Thinking of the small hollow feeling you have been feeling recently. You weren't one to get lost in your head much, you couldn't afford to. So when you did get lost in your mind and was disturbed it put you in a foul mood.

"Sorry. I couldn't because this is a meeting for all of us, including you. We need to make a plan to raid a gang's place and you need to oversee it," Namjoon explained to you with a grim look. Namjoon knew you were going through something that no one knew about. So, he tried to leave you be as much as he could. But this was a problem that came up that he needed you to oversee. Being you were the leader, and you were the one that specializes in raids.

"What now?" You grunted with a clenched jaw.

"James and his group have been trying to take over one of our territories discreetly and he almost has control," Namjoon started as he reached into his coat pocket. Taking out a few papers with sell numbers and names. Leaning over he handed you the papers and continued his speech, "I got a call from an undercover informant in James' gang that I placed a while back to keep an eye on him. And they got a hold of these numbers and names that were being documented for proof. And they even told me that it would be best if we raid today. They faxed all of this and a layout of James hideout."

Namjoon finished telling everyone. You looked over the papers and began to search through your own papers to see any connections. Upon seeing it was indeed true you began cursing under your breath. You were livid that something like this had happened.

"Why the hell does this informant want to give us all of this information? They didn't just hand this over out of the goodness of their heart," Jin questioned Namjoon. From his spot on the couch with Yoongi and the feline male hybrid. You placed both of your arms on the desk waiting for Namjoon to answer. Because you were more interested now than ever after seeing the papers.

"Truly... all they wanted was us to take down James. To stay anonymous, and to get enough money for them to get out of this business and start a normal life," Namjoon faltered. Knowing that what he was going to say next was going to anger you.

"And?" Yoongi asked, coming into the conversation. He knew Namjoon was holding something back.

"Well they know it is a long shot... but they want us to consider sparing the two hybrids James has. They were very adamant about the two hybrids saying they were being treated horribly and they didn't deserve to be killed with James Gang," Namjoon answered. Informing the group about the last thing the informant wanted.

"Well that's not up to them, I'll take it into consideration. But I make the final decisions,"  snyouapped, pointing to yourself. Not liking being told what to do. You then turned to the two male hybrids in the room. One being the hybrid sitting in between Jin and Yoongi on the couch named Jimin. And the other a wolf hybrid sitting on the arm of the couch named Hoseok or Hobi. You then asked both with a small smile, "do either of you know the hybrids that James has."

"I don't know much just that they're rare breeds," Hobi informed. This led everyone to look over to Jimin. Jimin smiled at everyone as he thought about all the hybrids he knew. Hobi and Jimin were the organizers and links that the group had to hybrids all over. From gangs to businesses all were mostly informants but some could be more if they chose to be. Many humans underestimated hybrids and looked at them as if they were below them. Using this to their advantage they would help hybrids all over and ask if they'd like to join. Which many agreed too. Especially upon seeing how you treated your gang and hybrids alike no discrimination. But they could also always see that you had a soft spot for hybrids for some reason.

"James doesn't like hybrids. But I do know he bought two on the black market a little over a year ago. I think a tiger and black panther. Both males and both are very rare predator breeds. That's all I can remember getting informed I was never able to get in touch with them. He has them under lock and key," Jimin answered with a grim look. Everyone else had looks of sadness and sympathy knowing that they must truly be treated horribly. Knowing that Namjoon's informant was telling the truth about James taking over their territory. Why would they lie about the hybrids and be persistent about them?

"Well I guess we're doing this," you said. As you got up from your seat with papers in hand. Straightening your suit you led the group to the doors. The sound of your heels clicking against the floor as you took out your phone.

"Get everyone to the meeting room now!"

You ordered with a growl through your phone before hanging up and placing it in your pocket. Hobi opened the door for everyone. Giving you a wide smile as his tail wagged while you sent him a small one in return. Walking by you reached up and ran your finger through his hair. Which granted you a pleasant grumble from Hobi leading you to chuckle.

When your hand left Hobi's hair your arm was soon taken by Jimin. Who looped his own arm with yours. Shaking your head you looked at the feline hybrid and was met with a smile. Smiling, you leaned in and kissed Jimin's cheek. A purr left him as he hugged your arm to him. They were soon walking in sync with each other. As Jimin leaned down so his head was on your shoulder. Continuing on your way through the mansion to another area as you study the papers. You then hand them over to Yoongi. Who takes them gratefully studying them himself.

Reaching a room, a male dog hybrid in a suit opens the doors for you all. As you walked in the room Jimin detached himself from you but stayed close. Everyone entered silently. Still handing off the papers to each other all wanting to take a look. Looking around the room you were met by many men and women. Along with hybrids of all kinds male and female.

"Let's begin, shall we?" You announced getting everyone's attention.

The feeling of fingers lightly brushing against your arm up to the curve of your shoulder was the first thing you woke up to in the morning. The feeling sent a shiver down your spine knowing who they belonged to. You then felt their fingers lightly travel down your arm again and making their way to your waist. They then firmly wrapped an arm around you. As your back was pulled into a firm chest you then felt a pair of lips meet the curve of your shoulder. The pair of lips soon traveled up your neck to kiss behind your ear once and then the owner of the lips spoke.

“I know you're up, love,” a male deep teasing voice filled the quiet room as he chuckled. Upon hearing his voice a giggle escaped your lips. Knowing you couldn’t pretend you were asleep any more. So with a sigh you turned around and faced the owner of the strong arms that were wrapped around you. The owner of the smooth lips that were on your skin, the one who owned the deep voice that you loved to hear so much. As you turned you were met with your smiling soulmate. The one soulmate who you knew since it felt like forever. The one who’s name was written above your left collar bone… Roman Knight. 

You had met Roman when you were in highschool and he was as well. The two of you were in the same friend group but never had the chance to meet at first. But once your best friends Zia Jacobs and Philip Davidson also known as Phil found out about both of your soulmate names. The two instantly knew that Roman their friend was one of your soulmates. So the two had a little get together with all of their friends and soulmates and made you two meet.

The first thing that came to mind when you saw Roman was one thing: boy was he pretty. He had on a pastel pink jacket on top of a white shirt, light blue skinny jeans, with pink and white converse. His skin was littered with cute little colorful drawings. The one drawing that stuck out the most was the one on his cheek, a rainbow colored flower. His wavy hair that fell over his eyes was colored a pastel pink. And his face was decorated with light makeup. The first time you met him your breath was taken away. So much so you almost swooned. 

The first time you met Roman, you knew he was different. From the first time speaking to him getting to know him, all you wanted to do was take Roman in your arms and never let go. You wanted to shield him from the world. But you knew he had you hooked. You knew that he had you wrapped around his finger. Especially when finding out his name… your soulmate. What you didn’t know was that Roman was thinking and feeling the same things you were but towards you. You didn’t know until later on once he spilled his feelings to you.

But from our first meeting, you two became the best of friends… inseparable. And once after a while the two of you started dating officially. You both have been together ever since and still going strong after many years together. You still had your trials and tribulations that you went through and still go through till this day. But the two of you go through them together.  

Roman Knight was your first everything; first kiss, first date, first boyfriend. Both Roman and yourself cherish every moment more than ever. Though what most didn’t know was that you had two soulmates… but you only know one which was Roman. While Roman’s name was above your left collar bone, on your right was the cursive writing of the name Taehyung Kim. 

Taehyung was your other soulmate who you have yet to meet. It was a huge bump in the road for Roman and yourself because you had two soulmates. While Roman only had one, you. Meaning two people had to share a soulmate. There were difficulties with the matter but after time there were agreements and you two became happy with the agreements. Both of you learnt over time to soak up all the time you have with each other before someone else came into the picture. 

Smiling with a content sigh you had reached up and lightly brushed Roman's freshly dyed pink hair from his dark brown eyes. You then began tracing his features with the tips of your fingers. You were so taken by him that you didn’t hear Roman begin speaking to you. You were soon cut off from tracing his features when Roman gently took your wrist in his hand. Placing a kiss on your wrist Roman then spoke again now having your attention.

“... Are you listening, love?” Roman whispered with a smile. 

“Umm no… I have no clue what you said Row,” you giggled. As you felt your face begin to heat up. Roman chuckled and then crawled over you. Placing himself on top of you he then began to place a kiss upon your lips before lying on top of you. Resting his arms on your chest he lies his head on his arms looking up at you. Smiling at him you reached and began to play with his pastel pink hair. That you always found yourself playing with. But you soon stopped when a thought came to my head. 

Today was the day that Roman would reveal himself on your youtube channel that you shared with your friends. The channel was called The Diverse Crew and it was runned by yourself and Roman and your friends you knew from high school, Zia, Phil, Nate, and Bill. You all did a whole bunch of things on the channel dealing with dancing, singing, and art. It was a pretty big channel with different branches connected to it. 

“Are you sure you wanna reveal yourself on our youtube channel,” you had questioned him. You knew how he was. Roman was an introvert and shy to a fault just like you but more so. It was one of the things you bonded over. But once you were both comfortable with people you could be all over the place. 

That was why you were wondering if he really wanted to go onto the channel and reveal himself. Roman has been on your channel before but was always covered up to keep his identity a secret. You and my friends were fine with that, he felt comfortable that way. But you were also alright if he joined the crew with his identity revealed. You just wanted to make sure if that was what he really wanted to do, you didn’t want Roman to get overwhelmed. So recently you always ended up making sure it was what he wanted to do these past few days.

“Yeah I’m ready, But I also want to be known as your soulmate too,” Roman answered with a smirk as he traced his name on your skin with his fingertips. Which caused ashiver to run down your spine, As you felt the sparks that always came when he touched you. Hearing him caused you to smile though. But soon you felt his fingers begin to become ticklish so you ended up giggling. Leaning forward you soon kissed his cheek. Dropping your head back onto the pillow with a sigh you stared up at the ceiling and nodded.

“Of course we can announce that you're my soulmate. I’ve been tired of the comments and what not. It can take people off my back about at least one of my soulmates,” you rambled on. You felt Roman nod to your ramble looking back at him. You see he had a small smile on his face. You knew one of the reasons he was happy to reveal himself was so that people knew he was your soulmate and you were his. People already knew you had two soulmates and knew you had met one. They knew him as Row on the channel, the one that covered himself up. Thinking about him being possessive though made you giggle a bit.

“What?” Roman asked, tilting his head with a smile. 

“Nothing. Nothing at all. Do you think we should get ready?” You chuckled, as you shook your head changing the subject. 

“Yes!!! I’m doing your hair and make up Y/n,” he exclaimed with a wide smile. Wrapping his arms around you he buried his face into your chest with a chuckle. Laughing you wrapped your arms around him pulling him close. 

“Okay Row my goodness. Can you help me pick something out?” You asked him, knowing that Roman loved when he could help you get ready. He usually helped get you dressed for the channel. But other than that you were usually in sweatpants and a t - shirt. You were one to dress up like a tomboy but sometimes you’d let Roman dress you up to his liking.

“Most definitely love,” he cheered, raising his head up with a wide smile still on his face. Another giggle escaped you. As you placed a hand on his cheek. As soon as you did, Roman leaned into your hand soaking up the affection. Dragging your thumb over his cheek you smiled back at him. But the moment was short lived once you saw what time it was on the digital clock next to your bed.

“Okay my flower. Get up so we can get ready,” you softly ordered him. As you shuffled underneath him. Reaching over you took your phone from the bedside stand and looked over your texts.

“Alright!” Roman exclaimed as he jumped off you and ran to our closet. 

Chuckling, you watched as he ran around getting your clothes ready for the day. You couldn’t help but think he was so cute.  You adored him so much. It was no secret that Roman was different. You thought he was special. He just had a different way of looking at things and took interest in different things than most wouldn’t. These things made people judge him, but yourself and your friends were always there to shut them up. It was hard for Roman and you in high school because just like him you were different too. But you always stuck together and stayed close to your friend group who never judged you both.

 Before you could think about those days you shook the thoughts from your head and looked back to your phone. You took the time to read over a few important texts from your friends dealing with the channel. Putting down the phone you got up and walked to the vanity in the room that you and Roman shared and started to brush out your long hair. A giggle would escape you here and there as you watched Roman run around through the mirror. After placing your clothes on the bed he was soon next to you plugging up a straighter and curling iron.

“What would you like me to do with your hair?” He asked, as he took the brush from your hands. He then gently pushed you to sit down in the stool that went with the vanity. Smiling to him in the mirror you shrugged your shoulders.

“I don’t know. Do whatever you want, Row. You know what I like and what not so go ahead and put something together.” you shrugged again clueless with a chuckle. Because you were clueless. You weren't one for all the hair and make up stuff. You usually depend on Roman or your friend Zia to guide you with that sort of stuff. You knew very little when it came to that stuff. You only liked eyeliner and mascara then you’d throw your hair in a ponytail or leave it out. You were good for those things. 

Roman soon laughed but nodded and began to work on your hair and make up. Looking at him in the mirror you watched as he did your hair with a look of content and focus. I watched him with admiration and awe. You loved when he did your hair or anyones at the matter. You could tell he was in his element and he was doing what he loved. You were shaken from your thoughts though when your phone rang. You were about to get up to get it but Roman placed a hand on your shoulder stopping you. Clipping your hair in place he walked over and got your phone looking at who it was.

“It’s Zia,” he answered with a smile. He was always happy to hear from his friends. They were more so like family to him. Having helped him through so much. So with a wide smile he showed you the phone. Revealing a goofy picture of Zia on your phone.

“Can you answer it please,” you said, trying not to move your head. He nodded and answered the phone. Walking over he began doing your hair again. He unclipped the piece of hair and began straightening your hair.   

“Hey Zia!” He answered, placing the phone between his shoulder and ear. But soon sucked his teeth and handed you the phone with a playful roll of his eyes. As he mumbled, “she wants to talk to you.” 

Sighing you rolled your eyes as well with a chuckle. Taking the phone the first thing you heard was Zia shouting “HELLO Y/N!”

“Damn Zia! Calm down! What is it you want?” You laughed, as you finally placed the phone to your ear to listen to what she had to say. You soon heard a deep chuckle from behind you from Roman. You knew he heard her through the phone. Which caused you to smile at him through the mirror, which he returned as he continued your hair.

“I wanted to speak to you about today's live on the channel,” Zia informed you. Once she calmed down with a more serious tone. You knew she meant business when she got this way. So with a sigh you listened to what she had to say.

“Yeah, what about it?” You questioned her. You were confused as to what she wanted to talk about. We had gone over as a group on what would be said and what questions would be answered. You all also were going to make sure everyone in our group was there. That meant you, Zia, Nate, Bill, and Phil. It was so that you could all support Roman and could help if something happened during the live.

“Nothing much just wanted to go over the questions with you and what not since you are leading the show today,” Zia explained to you. You could hear papers and what not shuffle over the phone. So you gave her a minute to gather what she needed. 

Looking into the mirror you watched as Roman did your hair. He was finishing up straightening your hair and seemed to be starting to style it. As he did so you talked to Zia over what was going to be done and talked about on the channel today. You also brought Roman into the conversation as well being that it was him revealing himself on the channel. You wanted to make sure he was comfortable with the questions and what not. Which he was okay with mostly all of them.  

Soon you all were wrapping up everything on the conversation over the phone with Zia and you hung up the phone. As you did so Roman finished your hair. Which was in a half up and half down hairstyle. Which you loved. He then turned you around and began doing your makeup with light tones. Staying still you talked to him about the show.

“Are you excited?” You asked with your eyes closed. As he did your eyeshadow. 

“Yeah I want to be more involved and what not. I know I can keep my identity a secret but I want to start making a name for myself. And I want to stop hiding who I am. I want to not be scared of what people will say about me. I want to be me. You know,” he revealed to you. Roman was officially tired of hiding who he was as a person. Yes, he was different than most. But that didn’t mean he should hide who he was. With your help over the years Roman had learned to love who he was. And he finally wanted to flaunt it. He wanted to flaunt who he was and be proud of himself. He also wanted to stand proudly by your side… as your soulmate.He wanted to get over his fear of being judged. As he thought of this you then noticed a tear slip from his eye which you caught. Wiping it away you nodded with a sincere smile.

“It’s okay Row I understand. And that's what we are going to do today,” you whispered. Leaning forward to press a kiss to his lips. He sighed into the kiss then broke away. Placing his head against mine. 

Nodding he then leaned back and continued to do your makeup. After he was done you gave him another kiss and thanked him and went over to put on your clothes. It was a black long sleeve shirt with a light blue jean overall short dress over the shirt that went to your knees. When you were done dressing you turned to Roman and watched as he was doing his hair and make up. Waiting for him to get done you watched and played on your phone. When he was done he ran over to change into his outfit; a white button up shirt with small vertical pink stripes, a pair of light blue skinny jeans, with pink shoes, and topped it off with a pink leather jacket. 

“You look so pretty, Row!” You flirted with a smirk. He soon started to blush but soon glided over to you wrapping his arms around you. Leaning down he kissed you with a chuckle. 

“Thank you, Y/n, You look pretty too, my love,” he smirked at you. Blushing, you whispered a thank you. And then went over and grabbed your purses. Handing Roman his pink purse you put your own black purse on your shoulder. Roman was shaking with excitement and he soon grabbed your hand and began to drag you out of your apartment to our car.

Walking up to the building with Xavier, you took in all your surroundings. To say you were nervous was an understatement. You were so nervous that your whole body was shaking. Stopping though you took a few deep breaths knowing you would overwhelm yourself otherwise, and you did not want to do that. Upon entering the building, you and Xavier were greeted by a woman that seemed to be in her early fifties, "hello, welcome to Loveable Hybrids! I'm Leah."

"Hello Leah. I'm Xavier Johnson and this is Y/n L/n," Xavier introduced the two of you with a smile. While he was taking the time to introduce you both. You allowed your mind to wonder as you looked at the environment around. It was very bright with pictures of hybrids and people, also colorings were littered around the walls.

"Nice to meet the both of you! How may I help you?" Leah beamed at the two of you.

"Y/n here is looking to adopt a possible hybrid. We heard this is an extraordinary place," Xavier stated the reason why the two of you were here. While doing so though he placed his hand gently on your back to grab your attention from the surroundings, so you could focus on the conversation.

"We do try our best to stay in tip top shape. And that's excellent! Y/n is there any type of breed that you had in mind?" Leah questioned you with zeal. She was trying to get a feel for you since it seemed you would be adopting today.

"N - no. Just whoever I click with," you stuttered out nervously.

"Spectacular! Just follow me right this way to the back!" She sang and made a gesture for you to follow her. Following her you watched as more pictures and drawings on the wall appear down the hall the three of you were traveling down.

"Here let me take this and you worry about looking around," Xavier said to you. Taking the oxygen tank from your hands that was rolling behind you.

"Thank you Xavier."

"No problem Miss L/n."

"Okay this is where all our felines reside, over here we have our dog breeds. Down on the far left we have our birds, then our reptiles on the far right, and then in the center our smaller breeds, where they reside. Is there any room you would like to start with first?" Leah informed the two as she gestured where everyone was. Looking at Leah nervously hoping the looking upon your face showed you couldn't decide. But you soon chose the first thing that popped into your head.

"H - how about d - dog hybrids if possible?"

"Alright right this way!" Leah nodded and agreed, gesturing to Xavier and you to follow her. Upon entering the area for the dog hybrids you couldn't believe how many were there, and how many different breeds you saw. It instantly made you sad to see them without a home. But seeing them seemed to lift your mood and brought a few positive thoughts on the idea of possibly adopting a hybrid. After talking to a few hybrids and mingling around you thought that many were adorable. But you couldn't bring yourself to tell Leah that you wanted to adopt anyone. You felt sad... but you didn't have the feeling that you described as the 'click' that you so desperately wanted.

"Did anyone catch your eye Miss L/n?" Leah asked with a kind smile.

"No ma'am sorry," you mumbled looking down nervously. You felt bad to say so but you couldn't bring yourself to lie. There were many amazing hybrids here but none caught your eye or made you feel the 'click'.

"That's okay. Just take your time honey!" Leah beamed reassuring you with a gentle pat on her shoulder. Leah could see how nervous you were. So she wanted to reassure you as much as she could, and make you feel comfortable. Also seeing the oxygen tank, and assessing you, observing how you acted, Leah can very much tell what you needed. And one hybrid came to Leah's mind instantly. So as soon as the thought came to her mind Leah hoped her plan would work in the hybrid's favor, as she escorted the two of you to the next holding center.

"Alright how about we go over here to the felines?" Leah suggested. Which led you to nod and follow with Xavier close behind.

"Here Xavier I'll take it," you offered. Taking the oxygen tank out of his hand. You then place it on your shoulder so you could walk around more freely on your own. Feeling better with your breathing.

"Alright dear. Remember to take your time."

"Okay," you beamed. Now that you were starting to become more excited about the idea of adopting a hybrid. You then started to mingle once again amongst the hybrids in the room. You had pleasant talks with everyone who approached you. But with everyone you talked with you didn't feel the 'click'.

After talking to all of the feline hybrids in the room there was one who you didn't talk to. The hybrid you didn't talk to was sitting at a table alone seemingly immersed in his drawing. He was a handsome male hybrid with brown eyes and wavy ebony hair that had two fluffy orange ears with black stripes. His tail was also orange with black stripes which swayed behind him lazily as he drew. With the ears and tail it gave you the hint he was most likely a tiger hybrid. Being he was the last hybrid in the room you hadn't talked to you wanted to give him a chance to talk. So with a deep breath you dug up all the courage you had and made your way towards his table.

"H - hello, can I sit?" You stuttered nervously as you fiddled with the strap of your bag that held the oxygen tank.

Hearing your voice seemed to startle him out of his own little world, but looking up he was amazed at what he saw. A beautiful young woman with h/c long hair was standing next to him with large e/c innocent eyes. But upon seeing you he could tell that you were nervous. So shaking himself out of his dazedness he hurried to answer.

"Hi, and sure," he answered with a gesture. He soon allowed you to join him. Getting up he pulled out a seat for you. Him doing this for you made your face feel warm which didn't go unnoticed by him. Smiling he sat back down and continued his drawing, but not totally into his drawing as he was before. His focus was on the gorgeous woman beside him. Who seemed to be trying to contain your nervous tics that he could still see.

"Can I ask what you're drawing?" You asked, trying to start a conversation with him. Upon hearing this he looked at you and shrugged, pushing the drawing over to you. Looking at the drawing you saw it was of a picture of a butterfly settled on a flower.

"Wow, it's so pretty. The details and techniques you use are phenomenal," you praised with a smile. Upon seeing the picture he drew. It truly was beautiful and well thought out with details that were unique. You could see he had a talent for art. You notice the techniques he use and the different colors he used that he blended together nicely. Having known the arts yourself you could see all the details. Which had you smile.

"It isn't even finished, I have to add more color to it," he mumbled while blushing hearing your praise. He has had people praise him for his art. But he never had anyone praise him in the way you did. And something told him that you knew what you were talking about when it came to art.

"T-true but I can still see the details and emotion you put into it. It's lovely," you explained to him. As you handed the picture back to him carefully. Smiling at him you giggled when you see a bush tak over his cheeks.

"Thank you," he beamed with a smile sending you a nod.

"What's your name?" You finally had the courage to ask after getting more comfortable with him. He seemed to ease your nerves that you had so much of, upon coming to the building. Now all you seem to have was excitement on your mind now after meeting some of the hybrids. But you weren't going to lie. You found the hybrid that you were talking to now to be the most interesting one you had conversed with so far. Which led your curiosity to get the best of you.

"Taehyung. What's yours?" Taehyung smiled widely asking as he turned to give you his full attention, as his tail swayed happily behind him. You couldn't help but chuckle at the cuteness that was shown in front of her.

"That's a nice name. Mine's Y/n L/n," you offered with a smile back at Taehyung.

"That's a pretty name," Taehyung admired, smiling as he watched you blushed and looked down. Pushing your long hair behind your ear.

"T-thank you," you smiled, finding the courage to look back up at him with a wide smile of your own. Looking at you again Taehyung found himself admiring you once again. You were just so beautiful and kind, it drew him in instantly. It had been such a long time since he had met a nice human beside the ones that worked here at the adoption agency. But for the first time something caught his attention, it was the tank and the connected tubes hanging from her nose and ears.

"What's that?" Taehyung asked curiously, pointing to the tubes.

"Oh these are nasal tubes and that's an oxygen tank they help me breathe," you informed him with a smile unfazed by the question. But he was also the first to ask you about such a thing.

"Why do you need them? You can't breathe?" Taehyung questioned with worry.

"I have trouble at times. I don't have the most healthy lungs," you spoke with a smile.

"Oh that must suck. Are you okay now?" He asked, still worried.

"Yes it does. And I'm fine thank you for asking," you reassured him. You were touched he would ask you such a thing.

"No problem, I would want someone to ask me if it were me," Taehyung smiled at you once again. You couldn't help but smile back because he had such a contagious smile. After that the two of you talked to each other more, getting to know random things about one another without even noticing. The two took to drawing as they talked.

They were on the subject of your book cover that you created yourself with your own photography skills. But your conversation came to a stop when Leah came over. She came to tell you that there were other hybrid rooms that they could still see if she wanted to. Which you went reluctantly. Not without sending a sad smile to Taehyung giving him the picture they drew together. Which was a picture of a plethora of flowers.

Even though you were off meeting other hybrids you still had Taehyung on your mind. The feeling you had when you spent time talking with Taehyung was exactly what you had been looking for... 'the click' you wanted to experience so desperately. What you didn't know at the time though was Taehyung couldn't seem to rid you of his thoughts as well.

"Well that is all of our hybrids. Did anyone catch your attention?" Leah had asked after hours of escorting you and Xavier around the building all the hybrid rooms. And already having made up your mind you nodded quickly with excitement and a wide smile. Seeing you like this Xavier and Leah both smiled at the young woman.

"Actually yes, is it possible if I can see Taehyung again?"

"Sure you can. Let me take you to his room." Leah said instantly. She was hoping that this meant that Taehyung would finally be adopted. After seeing Taehyung go through so much the elder woman hoped it meant that you were considering it. Leah could tell that you were a kind and respectful young woman, though you had your flaws. Leah knew you would take care of Taehyung, especially after seeing the interaction between the two Leah knew that the two would be perfect for each other. So with a wide and hopeful smile Leah gestured for you and Xavier to follow her to Taehyung's personal room.

"Thank you!" You beamed following behind with a bright smile. You were still a little nervous but hopefully it would go well with what you had planned to ask Taehyung. You wanted to ask him before anything went forward or anything happened. After a few minutes of following Leah you all finally arrived at Taehyung's personal room. You were nervous and hesitant to enter his room. Looking down you fiddled with your hands drifting off into a daze. That was until Xavier spoke to you.

"Should I come with you?" Xavier asked you with worry, before you went into Taehyung's room.

"No it's okay I can go by myself," you reassured him with a tired but bright smile. Even though you was tired from the eventful day you still were happy that you came. Taking a deep breath you once again dug up some more confidence and continued to Taehyung's room. Knocking you smiled when you heard Taehyung shout out with his deep smooth voice a 'come in.' Upon entering his room you were met with Taehyung sitting on his bed reading a book.

"Hi Taehyung," you greeted him with a gentle but nervous smile.

"Hi Y/n. What are you doing here?" Taehyung was confused as to why you were there. But still smiled happy to see you once again. What had Taehyung worried though was that he could hear your heart beating faster than usual, making his ears twitch. Taehyung knew that you were nervous and even though he didn't know her health problems. Taehyung knew that couldn't be good for you.

"I actually wanted to ask you a question. I - if possible?" You stuttered over your words. As you fiddled with the tubes connected to your oxygen tank. You were so nervous to ask him such a big question.

"Sure what is it?" Taehyung asked you gently. Not wanting to make you even more nervous then you were.

"Would you maybe umm l - like to umm," you stumbled over your words again. Having trouble with your breathing for a moment. You were so nervous that you began to shake like a leaf. This was a big moment not just for you but for Taehyung too, and you knew that.

"It's okay, sit down. Take deep breaths," Taehyung instructed you as he guided you to his bed to sit. He didn't know what was making you this nervous but he felt helpless seeing you like this. So gently Taehyung took your hands into his. Hoping that it would ground you. As he waited for you to take deep breaths to control your breathing. After a while having yourself under control you blushed embarrassed. But smiled when you looked down at your hands that were intertwined. Which caused her to go off in a daze, thinking about how they felt, and how smooth they were. But your attention was brought back upon hearing Taehyung's voice.

"What was it you wanted to ask me?" Taehyung asked softly, trying not to overwhelm you. You looked at him for a moment to rethink your decision. You thought of all of the pros and cons once again. Thinking about them over again. After being at the adoption center made you happy because now there were more pros then there were cons. So with these thoughts in mind you asked the big question that would change everything.

"Would you like to be adopted by me?" You asked with a smile but soon bit your lower lip nervously. As you fiddled with the tubbing giving you oxygen.

"Really? You want to adopt me?" Taehyung questioned with shock. He didn't expect for you to ask this question. Out of all the questions he thought you would ask this was not one of them.

"Y - yes if it's okay with you," you stuttered with nervousness after hearing the questions he asked. You knew you wanted to ask him permission first before even thinking about going through with the adoption. You wanted to give Taehyung a choice because this would change his life as well, not just hers. Before you could think up any negative thoughts though they were cut off by hearing Taehyung's answer.

"I would love that!" Taehyung exclaimed as he smiled widely at you. Taehyung still couldn't believe that this was happening. He would finally be able to leave the walls of this building. And with a person who seemed to actually be genuine and kind.

"I just want to warn you beforehand that it can be chaotic being around me. I - I - I just wanted to give you a choice," you said truthfully tol Taehyung. Because you did want to give him a choice in the whole adopting him process. But you also wanted to warn Taehyung what he was getting into with entering her life.

"You're giving me a choice. That says something about who you are as a person," Taehyung started with a smile as he looked at you. He couldn't help but see you in a new light. Because he knew anyone else would have just adopted him. Not come and give him a choice on the matter. So with much emotion Taehyung leaned forward and gave you a gentle hug.

"Thank you so much Y/n," Taehyung said with sincerity. Having his arms around you had you freeze. Not having a hug in such a long time. But a smile crept upon your face. Realizing you didn't feel panicked instead you felt content. So filled with such feelings you slowly leaned into the hug and wrapped your arms around Taehyung.

"I hope you don't get tired of me," you chuckled jokingly to Taehyung. As the two of you leaned out of the hug after a moment to look at each other.

"How could I? You're giving me a chance at living a life outside of these walls," Taehyung said with another smiled sent your way again. Taehyung couldn't remember a time he had smiled so much. But he couldn't help but hope this would be the beginning of more smiles in his life.

"Come on let's tell them," you beamed at Taehyung. Standing up from the bed you hesitantly held out your hand for Taehyung. Who looked at it still not being able to believe this was happening to him again. But this time he couldn't help but think this was going to go well despite the past adoptions that he went through. So with much trust, he hesitantly took your hand and let you lead him out of the room.

"I would like to adopt Taehyung!" Was the first thing you exclaimed. When you were met with the questioning looks of Leah and Xavier. Both had very different reactions but the same nonetheless. Xavier smiled at you and the hybrid that was next to you. Xavier could tell the two would be perfect for each other. After observing their interaction earlier and also seeing the two now. Leah though couldn't help but exclaim with excitement for the two.

"Congratulations! I'm happy for you two! We can start the papers today and you can come pick Taehyung up in a few days!"
