The way I've watched and rewinded this scene so manY TIMES- is not even funny. The tone, the animation, their bond- like, Al owns Niffty's soul, but she clearly sees him as a friend, and I just love her so much. The way they look at each other while laughing maniacally is perfect.

I just love this little scene between Alastor and Niffty. Their crazy laughter is so fucking funny.

"probably super obvious" I HAD NO IDEA- I just thought the "op" character was getting beaten to show he'd either overcome the loss, prove himself later, or just provide more depth to his character over all. I never even realized Carmilla's quote was used consistently in the finale (I forgot about it honestly).

Okay, normally, I don't do this kind of thing, but I can not get it out of my head.

Carmilla said the best thing to kill an angel with is to fight for what you love. To fight for something you believe in. And that's what the whole gang does.

Alastor can not comprehend dying for friends of all things. He was fighting for power he was fighting for freedom, and he lost his fight.

GOD- I love this scene; whether you view it as father-daughter or big brother-little sister, this will forever be the best relationship (/p) in the show.

The insane laughter, the way they look at each other to know when to stop laughing- it's all too perfect.

Even when Pen first arrived at the hotel, Niff just keeps climbing Al's shoulders. He doesn't shoo her away or anything (at first, he picks her up and puts her down but after, he just gave up).

If you look at his face here, there's no hint of disgust in his eyes, he genuinely loves Niff's antics because she's just as mad as he is!!
