personal hot take but black systems get like no recognition or love

being an adaptive traumagen system in an odd black household is really weird because i feel like the trauma ive gotten from my parents isnt enough to have resulted in this system but it was apparently

on top of this...the general idea in black families that "mental health doesnt exist" really doesnt help my insecurities in being a black system

Hot take but we HATE how parts language is always talked down on, attacked, and torn apart by the plural community. Just because you don’t use it for yourselves doesn’t mean it’s bad or wrong!

Those who identify with parts language aren’t “less than whole.” They’re not “less than a person.” They’re not less than anything! They are systems and they are deserving of dignity and respect just like everyone else.

We use parts language and we are dismayed and greatly pained to see the plural community, OUR community, so quick to bash and tear down the language that we find affirming. It makes us feel left out of our own community, downtrodden and cast aside.

i know i said we were Going Through It and would be poof for like. 3-5 days but! i forgot how quickly it takes for us to fucking bounce back from shit. also lovely new headmatey sayori helped things a lott (hi!! :3 -sayori) so yeah! the circus is back on!
