Headmate Apartments

Smack in the center of headspace is a handful of comfortable apartment buildings. They may seem like ordinary buildings on first glance. Upon entering an apartment, you’re taken to a separate sub-plane specific for each alter. Most look like normal apartments — but some can be new places entirely. The roof is the fronting room; one can alter between controlling the body and gazing out over their comfy little town.

InSys Telephone Network

Need to get in touch with another member? Want to ask one of your headmates a silly question? The InSys Telephone Network can solve all of these issues! Just pick it up and dial in the name of the member you want to speak to, and you’ll be able to connect directly to them! There’s an urban legend about weird things happening when you dial a certain number — but that’s likely just a rumor.

Local Restaurant

Everyone needs sustenance. What better place to go than the local diner? This place serves full meals instead of treats, providing a place for folks to recharge their energy and fill their stomachs. It’s a great place for a first date too. Just don’t hit on the NPC waitress here; she’s quick to shut down any romantic remarks. The upper floor serves as an auxiliary viewpoint of front. The only difference is that this one can’t be used to control the body.

Record Store

Tucked away on a street in the small town is a vintage record store. It may look ordinary on the outside - but these records aren’t for sale, nor do they contain actual music. Rather, they’re memories that anyone can “borrow” and take back to their apartment to play. Archivists can work here and help to organize each section or keep certain memories “in the back”. How useful!

Lil’ Treats Bakery

A small shop for little nibbles and quick bites. Perfect for the alters with a sweet tooth or who just want to bake the day away! It’s said that some of the treats here are made with magic; they can soothe fears and worries, calm emotions, make alters sleepy, or even inspire bouts of creativity and imagination. Caregivers, soothers, and batteries can work here — provided they don’t have ulterior motives.

Suburbia

Beyond the comforts of their tiny town lies the vast suburbs. There’s a handful of other houses here that folks can live in (such as NPC family members of headmates or NPC source-mates), along with dog parks, lakefronts, farmer’s markets, block parties, and lemonade stands. Sometimes the NPCs in these houses have parties or get-togethers that alters can go to. Be careful not to get lost when trying to find your way back home!
