Fate: Part 2

Emilia woke up with pounding head. Where the hell was she? She squinted her eyes around to get a clear view. All she could make out was a very dark dungeon. How did she reach there? Her mind raced trying to recall. All she remember was her talking to Vincent at Rousseau’s. After convincing him to join hand with her, she left bar for her hideout. But unfortunately, someone came out of nowhere and ambushed her. It happened so quickly that she was not prepared for what happened next. The attacker hit her on the head which rendered her unconscious. All she saw was a blonde face when everything went dark.

She struggled to untie herself. But the knots were too tight. She tried her magic. It was not working. She tried and tried. It still did not work. Panic started rising in her heart. This had not happened to her in decades.

“Hello Emilia.” Someone greeted her. She could not see anyone in the dark.

“Who is it?” she called out. She saw a suited man moving forward. When the face became visible, she gasped. She was fucked. Completely fucked.

Elijah Mikaelson stood there in all his glory, watching her, studying her. Recovering from her initial shock, she stared back at him expressionlessly. She won’t give away anything. Even at the cost of her life. Elijah noticed the change in her. She was defensive now. Ready to fight. He also noticed the small changes in her. She no longer looked like a soft meek teenager he had known two centuries ago. She was a strong woman now. Her hair shorter than before, but messy as always.

“How are you still alive?” he couldn’t help but ask. He got no reply.

“Um…. It may not be the right time to ask, but who the hell is she?” Marcel asked.

“That Marcel is sweet, little Emilia Murphy.” Rebekah replied.

“We got that already, Rebekah. Our question is who is she?”

“She is a witch. A Cherai witch, to be specific. And chances are she could be the one who orchestrated the whole kidnapping plan.” Klaus told them.

“Hold On. Cherai witches are all dead. Every last one of them.” Marcel asked.

“Yes they are, Marcel. Or were dead. We were the one who killed them.” Klaus seethed.

“How the hell is she alive then?” Haley questioned.

“I don’t know.” Klaus screamed. He had reached at the end of his patience. First his daughter nearly getting kidnapped. Now an old enemy who was supposed to be dead, was alive and locked in one of the dungeons below.

Emilia heard Klaus scream. She was sure Elijah did too. But he did not react. Guess nothing had changed in two century. Niklaus still had tantrum issues. No big deal. And Elijah still cleaned up mess left behind.

“I am a patient man, Emilia. I am sure you know that very well now. So I will not leave until I get answer to my questions.” Elijah said when she had not said anything yet. Suddenly they heard a blast. Taking advantage of Elijah’s distraction, Emilia willed all her powers to break free. She quickly hexed Elijah and ran out of the dungeons.

The scene in front of her eyes caused fear in her, but she quickly masked it and joined the fight. Jake and Chris were shooting arrows at the Marcel and Haley. Klaus looked angry and was going to attack May. If she didn’t intervene now, they would be probably dead. She used her magic to create a shield between them and the Mikaelsons. Klaus tried to attack again, followed by Marcel and Haley, but was thrown backwards, which caused the later two to stop.

“Stop!” They heard someone say. Elijah was back on his feet. He looked amused at the newcomers.

“Now since sweet Emilia here was not telling me anything, how about the rest of you enlighten me?” Elijah said helping Klaus up.

“Why bother with it, brother? Let’s just kill them all.” Klaus said.

“Hold on, Niklaus.” Then turning around to face the newcomers, he continued, “Emilia, if you think you can leave this place unharmed, than think again.” Soon they were joined by the rest of the Mikaelsons- Kol, Davina, Freya, Hope and Rebekah. They were surrounded with no escape. Looks like this would be their end.

Fate: Part 1

PAST

The horse galloped as fast as it could. The girl ridding it tried to get it faster. Tears continuously flowed from her eyes. Sobbing, she tried to get the horse run faster. She needed to tell the others the truth. She needed to tell them that they have lost everything. Everything was over. The Mikaelsons have destroyed everything.

TODAY

“Bad Idea. This is a bad idea.” The voice in her head chanted. “Just go back. This is bad idea.”

Emilia kept driving towards New Orleans. Her conscience was screaming at her. She was riding right into the danger.

“For Jane.” She muttered to herself. She passed the “Welcome to the New Orleans” sign. Her thoughts were interrupted by a phone call. She glanced at the number and put her phone of speaker.

“Where is he?” she asked the person on the other end.

“He is in at Rousseau’s” the voice replied.

“Okay. Thank you. Now get out of the city as soon as possible.”

“Okay. Bye.”

“And listen? Stay low. We don’t want them to find us. Got i?”

“Yup. Bye.”

MIKAELSON’S COMPOUND

“Freya!” Klaus stormed into the room. “Freya!”

“Stop. Shouting.” Answered a pissed of Freya.

“Have you found them?” he demanded.

“I would if you left me in peace. Your screaming is not helping me.”

“Oh! So screaming is disturbing you. You have been doing this since last evening. Perhaps you should admit that you are not capable anymore.” Klaus taunted back.

“Niklaus. Enough. I will not allow you to speak to our sister in such condemning tone.” Elijah said walking into the room.

“I won’t be condemning her if she would one thing I asked her to do. All I asked you to find those kidnappers. And you failed me.”

Rebekah walked in. Seeing an angry Klaus and a frustrated Freya, she went up to her sister.

“Leave her alone Nik. She has been trying to locate them since last evening. Non-stop. Without eating or drinking. Least you could do is be patient.”

“How can I be patient? When I know that it could be my Hope kidnapped instead of that insignificant witch. Whoever it is I’ll find them and finish them off even before they could even think of doing it.”

“Calm down Niklaus. Hope is safe and sleeping in her room. Nothing bad will happen to her. We won’t let it happen.”

“I cannot find anything. I have been trying and trying hard, but I cannot find anything.” They heard a disappointed voice of Freya.

“Freya. It is not your fault.” Elijah consoled his older sister. “We will find the person behind this. And we will make them pay for it.”

“Marcel is looking into the CCTV footage of the area. We may get lucky. And Kol and Davina are out in the Quarters. If they find any suspicious character they would surely let us know.”

Rousseau’s

Vincent was sitting alone. Tired of yesterday’s search. Third kidnapping. This was third kidnapping in past month. The count totalled to 12 witches in the year so far. He had blamed the arrival of Mikaelsons to the New Orleans for it. But as time passed he was clear that it had nothing to do with the Mikaelsons. Hell he was not sure who is behind it.

He sat quietly, staring blankly at his drink when he heard the chair being pulled out next to him. he looked up to see a woman, nearly 5’3, brown hair and eyes, dark haired, sitting next to him. Her eyes fixed on him. Confident, curious and alert. She ordered her drink, and turned to him.

“Vincent Griffith.” She knew him, though he could not recognize her. He stared at her questioningly.

“My name is Emilia Murphy. And I have a proposition for you.”

Vincent scoffed.

“Look Ma’am. I am not interested. You can keep your proposition to yourself.” He said getting ready to leave. Emilia Murphy was not going to take no for an answer. She slipped a medallion towards him. Vincent was shocked to see the symbol on the medallion.

“I hope you would reconsider my offer.”

Vincent could not process his mind. His eyes were still set on the image carved on the medallion. His mind screaming questions but his mouth gaping like fish.

“How?” he managed to ask.

Emilia gave him a kind smile in return.

MIKAELSON’S COMPOUND

“I have tried. I even channelled Davina for more power. But I cannot trace the kidnapper. I don’t know why.” A frustrated Freya told Hayley.

“Hey. It’s alright. Don’t push yourself too hard. I am sure there is another way out for this.”

“I found our problem.” They heard Rebekah announce. Both the women rushed out. Klaus stood in front of his sister.

“Who is it? Who dared to create imbalance in my city?” He asked his sister. By this time, rest of the family had joined him. Elijah stepped forward.

“Who is it Rebekah?”

“Well like I said, Marcel was looking into the CCTV-”

“How is that relevant here, Rebekah?”

“Patience brother!” Rebekah said and continued. “I joined him and look who I found.” She turned to the entrance. Marcel entered carrying a woman, an unconscious woman whose hands were tied back and legs were also tied, face was covered in a black bag, on his shoulders. He put her down on the ground and pulled her cover off her head. All the Mikaelsons gasped.

“Emilia.” Elijah murmured.

Bucky Banned

Amidst the loud clapping of the audience the interviewer screamed out.

“Ladies and Gentlemen!  Thank you for coming here tonight. It is a wonderful evening and we have a very special guest for you to make it even better.”

The crowd screamed even more.

“He is handsome, he is a gentleman. He mesmerizes ladies with his charms and plays a top assassin in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Please welcome Sebastian Stan everyone.”

Sebastian walked in and waved everyone. Once he had taken seat, the interviewer asked-

“You look good Sebastian.”

“Thank you, I feel good too.” Sebastian laughed.

“Seb, the filming of Infinity War part 2 is over, I have heard. What can you tell us about it?”

“Ummm.. .. It’s was a great experience working  with MCU and being a part of something this big is a huge opportunity for which I am grateful. Also it was lots of fun. It was a crazy few months.”

“You are married and have kids? Twins if I am not wrong?

“Yes, I am my wife are blessed with a twins three years ago.” He said with a big smile on his face and the crowd cheered

“How do they take this? This separation? Or long distance?”

“It’s not easy. I tried to go home whenever I could. I had my family come and visit me as much as possible.”  He explained.

“You know I asked my audiences to suggest some questions for you and some of them have some really good questions. So if you don’t mind how about I ask you those, instead of mine?”

“That would be great. Bring it on.” Seb replied enthusiastically.

“Okay. The first question is from Jennifer. Her question is- If you had a chance to change one thing about Bucky/Winter Soldier what would it be?”

“Ummm…. Probably nothing. I kind of like Bucky/ Winter Soldier as he is. I mean he is a character with different shades and I love him as he is. “

“So no changes at all?” The interviewer asked.

“None.” Seb confirmed.”

“Sebastian, this is actually my question. Recently your wife twitted something.” Seb and the interviewer both looked at the screen.  

Then it was displayed a post which his wife has done few days ago. It was a simple text post-

Bucky Banned!

There was a murmur of excitement among the crowd and everyone were left guessing for the reason. Sebastian simply laughed.

“It’s a long story- “

“We have all the time in the world.” The interviewer put down his cards. Sebastian made himself comfortable before he began his story.

“So few days ago, my wife had some important work and she was going to be late. So I was in charge of our kids. Basically it was me and kids having a daddy day. Under supervision of their nanny.”

At this the audiences laughed.

“So we were doing fine, when I got a call from my wife asking me to pick her up. Her car stopped working and she was at the garage. So I went, picked her up and we both returned. We were just about reach our place when my wife got a call from the nanny asking us to come home immediately.”

“Why? What happened? Was everything alright?”

“At that time we didn’t know, my wife had heard the kids crying in the background. So I hit the peddle and droved as fast I possibly could. When we reached there we were greeted with the sounds of crying babies and teary eyed nanny. Seeing us at the door, both the kids rushed and gave me a tight hug. Their grip was so tight that I could not breathe. My wife comforted the nanny. All this happened in half an hour. I had been out of the house for only half an hour.”

“What? What had happened?”

“See, as soon as I left the kids asked their nanny to switch on the TV. She was putting on of the cartoon channel when they saw that Captain America the First Avenger playing on some channel. They both got excited and she let them watch it. Unfortunately, it was the train scene from where Bucky had the fall.”

“OH my God!”

“Yeah, they saw that and they started flooding the entire house.”

“I cannot believe it.”

“Yeah me too. They now have me under surveillance. They follow me everywhere I go. I have to inform them about my activities. Hell I have to keep the door open of the bathroom when I pee.”

“Oh my God! Oh my God!” everyone was laughing. The interviewer wiped his tears and asked-

“What about our wife? Didn’t she help you out of the situation?”

“Oh she was busy. Laughing. At me.” Sebastian said with a fake annoyed look on his face. He continued-

“So all the movies I did as Bucky is kind of banned at my place. At least my kids understand that it was not real.”

“Sebastian, I hope your kids understand this really quickly because we don’t want them to miss out their father’s one of the best work. Thank you Sebastian for coming to our show.”

“Thank you for having me. You were a great audience guys.” The camera then zoomed in on the interviewer.

“That’s Sebastian Stan ladies and gentlemen! Hopefully next time when we meet him Bucky would be unbanned”
