“Good Evening! Good Evening! Good Evening Everyone!” James Corden welcomed his audiences, both live and the ones watching the telecast, through the thunderous applause.

The applause slowly died down, before James continued,

“Good Evening Everyone! Welcome to The Late Late Show. I am your host James Corden, and we have an amazing show lined up for you.” 

More applause followed.

“Our first guest tonight, also our only guest tonight, is someone with whom I personally have a bone to pick. He has created a lot of uproar across the internet and the world in past few weeks, that he managed to crash Instagram. Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the newly or not so newly hitched NIALL HORAN!”

Niall walked on to the stage, waving his hand toward the crowds and camera. He did a semi bro hug with James before making himself comfortable on the sofa.

The applause subsided, except few hoots and claps here and there.

“Welcome Niall!”

“Hey! James!”

“Don’t ‘Hey! James!’ me.”

Niall let out a nervous laugh.

“Care to explain this?” James continued and pointed to the screen. It was the acceptance speech he gave at the AMAs a few weeks ago.

“…I would also like to thank my wife. Thank you, Bells, for standing by me. For giving me the push and pull when I needed it. For being by strength, my support, my heart, my soul. You make me a better man and I cannot express the love I feel for you in any words. Thank You! Thank You all! Have a great night!”

“As you declare your love for your wife, about whom no one seems to have any idea, I mean look at Louis’s face-”

The screen started showing Louis’s confused ‘What?’ reaction to Niall’s declaration of love. 

“His reaction has ended up being a meme!” James exclaimed showing various contexts. Niall let out a hearty laugh.

“Not only Louis, look at the reaction of others in attendance.. there’s Taylor- classy Taylor surprise reaction, there’s Liam- he too has managed to become a meme.” James showed various artist’s reactions to Niall’s speech.

“Yeah. I mean… what can I say? Yeah.” Niall tried to play it off.

“What can you say? Well, you can always start with the fact that how you ended up being married while the rest of the world thought that you were enjoying the bachelorhood.” 

The audience cheered.

“When the hell did you get married?”

“It been almost more than six months…. actually no.. it’s been eight months.” Niall confessed.

“Eight months?” James exclaimed. “Eight months?” James looked baffled. 

“Yeah!”

“How come we didn’t know about? Where was my invitation? Did it get lost? How did you send it? The courier company are going to hear from me very soon?” James bombarded Niall.

“Well….” Niall hesitated.

“Well what?”

“There was no invite?” It came out as a question.

“What do you mean there was no invite? How was I suppose to attend your wedding without invitation? Did you even invite me? Did I make it to the final guest list?”

“There was no guest list… there was no invite. Me and Bella had eloped.” Niall finally admitted.

His confession caused a lot of uproar of applause and hoots in the audience. James was speechless.

“I should be congratulating you. I’ll do that once I can completely process this information. But why on earth will you do that?”

“Well, she wanted a small and intimate wedding, I also wanted the same. But it was an impossible task, considering that we both have extremely large families. So, the only way we could do it was if we disappointed some of the family and friends or we disappoint all of them. We went for the later option.”

This earned a laugh from the audience.

“How did your family take it? When did you tell them?”

“We told them as soon as we came back home from our honeymoon-”

“So you had a honeymoon too? How thoughtful!”

“Actually it was a vacation, but we ended up marrying, so our vacation turned into honeymoon.”

“Alright. How did your families take it? We they disappointed with you as I am right now?”

“My folks were disappointed and hurt… but they understood our reasons. It took them some time, but they accepted it.”

“What about her folks? Were they convinced as easily as yours were?”

“Eh… Not really.”

“Yeah? How did they take the news?”

“Let’s just say that I literally ran for my life”

Christmas

“Come on, girl. It’s Christmas! Christmas! Brighten up a bit will you.” You told the auburn haired girl sitting next to you. Hope spared you glare, and continued with her reading.

You were a young witch studying in Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. You did not have any friends per se, everyone was polite to you, but usually preferred to stay from you due to your slightly risky nature. It was not your fault that you always ended up being in bad situation. You just happened to have the worst luck in the whole universe. Very few people were tolerant about your this “talent”, and Hope was one of them. All thanks to the awesome tribrid genes. It kept her alive anyway.

It looked like Hope was clearly going to ignore you for the rest of the day. You decided that you were going out. You can enjoy the Christmas alone.

Mystic Falls always fascinated you. A lot of human population, along-side of crazy supernatural. You found it amusing how ignorant they were about reality. You were walking past few stores. They were set for Christmas. You paused in front of a store and were busy admiring the decorations, when you were hit by something on the head.

When you opened your eyes, you found Hope and Josie looking down at you, worry in their eyes.

“What happened?” You and Josie asked at the same time and then gave a confused look.

“Something hit me. What happened?” You asked.

Hope was the one to reply.

“We don’t know. We found you unconscious here.” She said, pointing around the woods.

“What the f***!” You muttered under your breath. Josie held her hand to help you up. You muttered a inaudible ‘thank you’ and dusted your cloths.

“We need to go.” Hope said and started to walk.

“Where?” You asked following her along with Josie.

“We need to find your attacker.” She replied.

“So much for your bright Christmas.” Muttered Josie.

You groaned loudly. It was going a hell of Christmas.

RUMORS

Sebastian sighed loudly. Again. Someone made some comment about him seen with a woman. Again. They assumed that she was his secret girlfriend.

Sebastian stared at the picture. It was him and Y/N. Both standing together in front of a popular restaurant, laughing about something.

“Who is that?” Someone asked.

He looked up from his phone. Jessica Chastain was peeping over his shoulders looking at the image in his phone.

“A friend.” He replied.

“She doesn’t look like a friend. She looks like ‘the’ friend.” She told him, sitting by the chair next to him.

Sebastian rolled his eyes. Great! Now his co-stars too were talking.

“Man! I didn’t mean to upset you.” Jessica said seeing his frowning face.

“I am not upset. It’s just people need to stop spreading rumors. She is my best friend.”

“She can be more.”

Sebastian gave her a blank stare.

“Look. I understand this. I know these are just rumors. I just think that you both look great together.”

Sebastian blushed. He muttered an embarrassed ‘thank you’ and turned his attention back to the picture on his mobile screen.

“Hey!” Y/N said excitedly.

“Hey!” Sebastian replied back smiling like a Cheshire cat.

“What are yo- Oof! James!” Y/N got distracted from the video call.

Sebastian could see commotion behind her. She had lifted a young boy and was trying to adjust the camera.

“James! How is my favorite boy?” Sebastian exclaimed excitedly.

“Say Hi to Sebby.”  Y/N said waving James little hand in front of camera. The next few moments passes with James babbling to Sebastian.

“What is he doing here?” He asked followed by making a funny face.

“His dads have appointment with the baker for cake tasting.”

“Didn’t they go last week?”

“Oh! They did. Only they did not find ‘their taste’.” Y/N replied making air quotes.

“They do realize that the wedding is in a month. Right?”

“They do. Most of the things are done. Except cake. And my dress.”

“You realize that the wedding is in one month.” Sebastian teased.

“I do. Thank you very much for reminding me.” Y/N sassed back. She easily got distracted by her nephew who was trying to reach her face to get her attention.

“I think he is hungry.” Y/N said and started walking towards the kitchen, holding James on one hand and her phone on another.

“So? How is work? Shooting?” She asked him, as she placed James on the high chair and was in the process of heating his bottle.

Sebastian did not answer immediately. He was too busy staring at the woman in the phone, her soft hair that was all over her face, smelling like beachy coconut, a smell that he is all too familiar and started to love over years.

“Are you okay?” He heard her voice breaking his train of thoughts.

“Yeah… Yeah. Just thinking.”

“About?” She asked as she handed James his milk bottle.

“Those rumors.”

“Seb. We have talked about this. It is not your fault. Stop blaming yourself. And it’s not a big deal.”

“I know. I just hate all the teasing I have to endure.”

“Teasing?”

“Mackie. Jessica. And all others.” Sebastian replied blushing.

“Well. We both are very good looking people and it is good thing that people can see that.” Y/N replied bashfully making Sebastian laugh.

“We are indeed.” He agreed. Their conversation was interrupted by someone knocking Sebastian’s trailer.

“I have to go.”

“Okay. Bye. Take Care. Don’t worry. Everything will be fine.”  Y/N said.

“Bye. Love you both.” Sebastian said.

“We love you more.” Y/N said waving James’s tiny hands enthusiastically. He ended the call.

I do love you. Sebastian thought as he walked out of the trailer.
