And it's pretty worrying for me a 21 year old transgender man who has been up and about in his local queer community since he was 15 to see this sort of stuff coming from someone that is 30

Yes, humans are complex beings, labels can be fluid, and at the end of the day, I'm a singular guy in the internet who has no power over you or your life

But as I said, if you wouldn't call a relationship between a cis woman and a cis man gay, you shouldn't call this one either, please read my first post where I explain that because again, it alienates transness and has some pretty bad bi/pan/Omni phobia

Labels are just words, words that are used to describe experiences because humans like to categorize stuff,this isn't about making sense to other people as I believe that's bullshit, this is about treating trans people differently from cis people for the mere fact that they're trans

(also everyone at any age can accidentally stumble upon terfish ideology, they're sneaky, it's why they're still here, I said this but again, I don't think anyone here is dumb enough to fall into the pipeline, but young people will read this and who knows)

gender and sexuality is a fickle thing. sometimes two gay cisgender men will be dating for decades and one of them will turn out to be a transgender woman. a lot of times that won't work out but sometimes it will. her partner may still choose to identify as gay. She might even identify as gay, and they continue to be happily in love. Queer politics isn't going to get any better if you don't accept that situations like that happen every day.
