all pjo artists who enjoy Leah's Annabeth and draw her looking like Annabeth, please be aware of @notmyannabeth .

they have been stealing the artwork of Annabeth and whitewashing her. they have even stolen a piece of work, whitewashed her, and said, "Doing my girl justice." That makes it seem like Annabeth being black is a bad thing that has happened to her character, even though it is not.

they claim that "they aren't racist," but the main character they target in changing to "book accurate" is ANNABETH. (they have done it to Thalia too, but Annabeth is the main target of this racist act of art theft)

they have drawn over Annabeth to make her white and book accurate, but let Percy alone when he wasn't drawn book accurate either. They claim to not be racist, but why ONLY her? Why are you changing the only character that is black but not the white one?

why is Annabeth the only one changed and drawn over?

this user has been confronted numerous times but has not changed. they do not understand how their actions are bad, both because of the racism and because of the art theft.

I've seen people defending them saying that "they were just making the character look how they want," but that doesn't make their actions okay. art theft is art theft PERIOD. They have no right to whitewash this character, and it's wrong. so many people have complained about Leah as Annabeth, even though Rick chose HER. She is 11 and yall are fucking treating her as if she's an abomination to Annabeth WHEN ANNABETH IS FICTIONAL.

"Oh oh, but she's my comfort character, and I'm sad she's not book accurate!" Okay? just because she's a comfort character doesn't justify anything that is happening. Get a grip.
