"If I hit more than five in a row, you have to give me a kiss," Percy offered, wrapping his hands around his bat. You were watching him practice at the batting cage, not expecting to be anything other than emotional support during his breaks. But, of course, Percy had other plans. "Was the good luck kiss not enough ?" "Never," he smirked. It wasn't like you weren't used to him asking silly things like this, however, he seemed much more serious this time around. You let out a sigh, nodding in agreement to his little request. "Alright, I'll kiss you, Perce.. Just don't try to be a show-off, okay ?" Percy rolled his eyes, huffing at the comment. He pressed the switch and waited. Now normally, Percy was a good hitter, a great one even ! So it was no surprise that he hit all the balls he said he would and more. He was also a showoff to his very core when it came to you... So when he pretended to yawn while waiting for another ball to shoot out, it was no surprise to you when he got hit in the face with it. You quickly hopped off the chair you were sitting on, pressing the little emergency button on the wall. After a good minute or two of silence, and you holding back a laughing fit, you checked on him. "Are you alright ? Do you want me to grab an ice pack from the front ?" "Nah... I'm alright, but uh I could use a little something." You raised an eyebrow, a little caught off guard by the phrasing. "Yeah sure, love, what'd you need ?" He turned to you with a wide grin, a possible black eye forming over his left eye, "That kiss you owe me !"
