Hiiii! Welcome to "Me discovering that I can talk about my random thoughts on Psychology and MHA cause those two have been hyperfixations for years and Tumblr is the best place to talk like that" .
Today, the "Fight, Flight, Freeze and Fawn!" Part 1 : The Todoroki Siblings"
So, those four are considered to be the different ways to react to confrontation, the three first are said to be the most used but I recently found the Fawn too and it's very interesting!
And with that, the Todoroki siblings! And how they all portray a different version of it!
1st, we have Toya, he's a full Fight. When confronted by his dad, Toya always confronted back. He verbally tried multiple times to prove his point to his dad, and kept coming back to him despite the yelling and fighting. He even tried to be physically fighting against his dad's confrontations. And now years after, he still comes for the physical and verbal Fight, it became his default mode
2nd, we have Fuyumi. And she is the perfect Fawn. When confronted, the Fawns are people who keep a low head. They are usually the people pleasers. They get confronted and their only way to react is to say nothing, try to be peacemakers, have good grades, do all chores without complaining : they become the perfect, silent one to keep the confronting person on a calm behaviour.
3rd, Natsuo. He's a Fight/Flight (all Todoroki boys react by Fight in some ways, unfortunately got it from their dad). Natsuo as we can see in the episode where Izuku and Katsuki comes to eat, doesn't react any good way to his dad presence. A few words and he already tries to leave the room, so the Flight. Flight people will only try to avoid confrontation by avoiding every single thing that brings them to it, including the very own person that confronts. But when stuck in a situation where he HAS to talk, Natsuo goes to Fight. He'd rather not say anything but since he DOES have to say something, might as well comfront him (Endeavour) back
And 4th, Shoto, who has a Fight/Freeze reaction. Freeze because he said nothing, did nothing to avoid the situation and confrontation. Yes, he was forced to be that way by his dad, maybe he could have been like Toya or Natsuo, but he was used to young to be like that, and just stayed calm and listening to his dad's orders. BUT not completely! He still fought back by not listening to his dad and only using his ice side, he could have listened to 100% but no, he still chose to risk confrontation because he showed he was against it. He's becoming way more of a Fight since the talk with Midoriya though, finnaly saying and acting freely, because his dad doesn't have such a pressure on him anymore, forcing him into a Freeze.
Thanks to have been there for my little talk, if you have anything, professional or not to say or ask you can gladly interact I'l be very happy! ♡♡♡
Part 2 : The League of Villains

1st Universe!!
Snake baby. My snakes are cute but look like plushies

"Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn" Part 2 : The League of Villains!
(You can't understand how happy I am to see that the first one really interested people!!)
So Touya/Dabi was already made in Part 1
1st, let's start with Toga. We know her past, she was seen as weird, a freak, disgusting by her own family (I heard she had siblings, so even as far as them). But during years, she faked being a "perfect little child" that listened and was calm and "normal". Her family confronted her behaviours and she was in a full Fawn mode. One day, her mask that she forced onto herself fell and all her repressed needs, who are in her D.N.A., came as they could. The need of blood made her attack someone. This feeling of finally being free (herself) brought her to the LOV and to find a family that accept her and her "abnormal" behaviour. She seems to actually only need that, a family, and when she can (like in the Yakuza mess), she'd rather Flight the conflict. However if her family is targeted (like with Magne and Twice), or when her family gives her orders to, she will Fight. Because she just wants to keep her found family.
2nd is Twice. Pretty much like Toga, he only needed a family. Due to his mental instability, his fears and his self-doubts, he could have been a Freeze and not react, be stucked while facing confrontation (kinda like what we can see even before with his old boss). Though he trusted his new family so much that he was, like Toga, either going for the Flight or the Fight depending of how much his family needed him. (Though a bit more of a Flight then Toga before season 6, still because of his insecurities and fears of fighting eating his confidence away).
3rd Mister Compress. We don't see much of him, we just know that thieves are normal and biological in his family. So I would say that confronted, Compress may prefer to go for the Flight. Fighting would be if an irrespectful act is commited but he wouldn't stay doing nothing, or wouldn't dirty himself for a random person.
4th, Spinner. We know he's a follower. He follow Stain blindly because he doesn't know what else to do, then Shigaraki because he becomes a good leader, and listens to Dabi because he sees him as superior. He doesn't really have his own way of thinking and weighting the good and the bad side of his decisions. His "primary leaders" being Fighters, he would immediatly Fight back too. Same as Toga and Twice for the found family part, if his family is threatened, he will Fight for them. But before the LOV he was definitely a Freeze. Lizard side or not, he seemed to be very "NPC"-like towards his life, so no much reaction to confrontation before he had a goal.
5th is Shigaraki himself. He's a Fight. Confrontation = Fight for him, he was raised that way. OFA raised him that way. He won't be a perfect silent person, he won't say nothing and stay still, he won't escape from the situation. He yearns for a new society, a new reign, he wants to see a country and the world crumbles. A full Fight made to be like that by OFA.
Bonus because he was asked!
Stain : Stain to me would respond by Fight or Flight. But while his Fight would be very direct (you confront him, he confronts back), his Flight would be controlled. He doesn't want to avoid a situation of confrontation because he is scared, how because that's how his mind instinctly answers, he just doesn't want to confronts and will leave instead. But this situation is pretty rare, it's the type of situation we can only see with All Might (because he is worthy enough to be a hero by Stain's psychology). Stain would, and that's what we can see with anyone else until now, only attack and kill because he sees the "unseriousness" of being a hero, the need for fame and not actual saving as a unique goal, as a threat to the job of being a hero.
I hope I didn't forget anyone.

Part 1 : The Todoroki Siblings
Part 3 : The UA teachers
Hiiii! Welcome to "Me discovering that I can talk about my random thoughts on Psychology and MHA cause those two have been hyperfixations for years and Tumblr is the best place to talk like that"!
"Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn" Part 3 : UA Teachers!
(I will mention the Vigilante serie but I will not spoil anything!)
First, Midnight! In the multiple seasons, we can could see that she was very mature in her ways to fight. She was very thoughtful, calm, but determined (as we can see with the Makia situation). And I think she would have handled confrontation the same way. In all the moments we see her, she always has something to say, I'm pretty sure she never wants to leave a conversation (or so confrontation) without having said everything she thought about it. She wouldn't then be a Freeze nor a Flight. She could be a Fawn, saying what she thinks but staying low-profile, but with all know this is NOT our Midnight. If someone confronted her, she was definitely a Fight, but a very calm one in most situation, just wanting to make her point clear before leaving if the other started being too stubborn. (Also now that I think of it, Mount lady barely confronted her that she was yelling back immediatly. But that was an extreme case of a bitch someone disrespecting her job (being sexy)).
2nd, Mic. Mic is a Fight too. He doesn't like being seen as weak and he has way too much pride. We also know that for things such as when UA thought they had a traitor, he was the one speaking up on it the most and wanting to take care of the problem. With the Oboro situation, we can see him also speaking up and wanting to have any kind of reaction from him. Though he might have a bit of Flight when he emotionally can't handle the situation.
3rd, Nezu. (I know he's the principal). I just wanted to say that Nezu is 100% very controlled Fight. With how the UA barrier was done, the choice of the dorms and everything, we know he argued and fought to stay UA's principal and to keep UA strong and protected. This man is so smart and he doesn't go back a single bit on his choices.
4th is All Might. He's a Fight that's for sure but not at 100%. All Might worked so much as a hero to keep the peace in Japan and even the world, we know that he was working 24/7 and barely sleeping, and that's only thanks to Nighteye doing the paperwork or his quirk having a limit on him. But with Vigilante we see that he was keeping his hero life and civilian life very separately, and as a Hero he always confronts and helps, but as a civilian, despite having his Hero Justice Mind, he just tries to calm everyone down with gentle words and he avoids getting in the Fight. So a bit of Fawn into him.
5th is Aizawa! Shota is a Fight for others but a Freeze for himself. Not a Flight because if an emotional situation happens to him he will deal with it, but he'd largely rather sleep instead. Fight because he deals with all of his students for them to know a real tough education, and not be surprised and killed in their interventions like his late friend. But for himself he is a Freeze, not giving much active confrontation back unless necessary (though it was mainly in his teenagehood, because now his whole life is around taking care of his students and making sure they'll be independant ♡).
Yes this is not all the teachers, but I will add the others if you ask me to!

Sadly, my tablet is broken so I can't draw digitally for now, but here's Yuga's sister and Mina's brother!
If you want to know more about them, go on and ask please!
But now, which Class 1A person do you want me to draw the sibling of?
If that is something you could like, who knows
