today i made the discovery that i can type up to 45 wpm with only one hand because i've spent so much time devoting one hand to writing red dwarf fanfiction while the other hand holds my can of monster energy :)

i have written a fanfic why is it so hard to do you have all the respect in the world

do you have any favourite book covers? i'd like to know what they look like if you have any! or if not (i realize not everyone has thought about it) what are some things that you find generally pleasing in book covers?

for example things like there being multiple points of focus that make a cover a bit more chaotic vs only one vocal point; a comic/stylised look with only few bright colours vs something realistic that includes a lot; what about people in covers vs some scenery from the book or a highlighted important object; do you like a lot of text? like the author and book's name HUGE on the cover and spine.

those are just some things. of course feel free to just not answer. maybe this is a bit much but i really am curious if you have any favourite covers.

Tysm for this super cool ask! I had to think about it a little bit, but I have a special fondness for the cover-style of Star Trek books :]

Just the simple text for the title with some scenery and characters in the background is just aesthetically pleasing :D in terms of colors, I prefer anything that isn’t so insanely neon it burns my retinas and in terms of text, size is irrelevant to me as long as the font is legible and the color doesn’t blend into the background.

Additionally, I also have a soft spot for the covers on the Warrior Cats books!

Once again, it’s the simple text with background scenery and a few characters, so I guess that’s the vibe I’m rocking with :] again, ty for the cool ask! you’re one of my fav red dwarf posters on tumblr <3
