NEED!
Twitter OP is the one making them, by the way.

I try not to put political things on my blog but today I'm just tired. I was raised by my grandmother. She survived the bombing in Ulm, Germany. She was pulled out of a collapsing hospital where she worked as a nurse. She told me she was running through the street and the shockwave took the heads off of children in front of her as she ran. She was 17 and all she did during the war was freeze and take care of her siblings and community. A million fucked up things happened to her including sexual assault by a nazi soldier and She had a C-section with no anesthesia because there were no doctors.
In Hawaii, where she has been since she was 23, the u.s military would bomb Kaho'olawe with military tests. She would get flashbacks and panic attacks because of the bombing she experienced. In my lifetime, since the early 90s, I could see she still holds trauma. After decades of being away from war. She is terrified of saying anything bad about the government. She can't handle fireworks. Her family has been in shambles since the war. There are countless little day to day things I've seen her go through to try to cope with her trauma. I couldn't even convince her to get an MRI when she was 92 years old. She took my hand and she said "Don't let me go in that tube. I can't go in a tube like that. It will make me think of being trapped in that tunnel. I can't be trapped in that tunnel again."
And she is a white Catholic cis woman with all the sympathy in the world given to her as a civilian victim. So please, for a second, try to imagine the lasting trauma the people in Gaza are facing. They did not experience one night of bombings. It hasn't stopped. The suffering, the need for aid, the need to humanize these people, it's not going to stop. It's going to take their lifetimes for them to try to achieve some normalcy, if they make it out alive at all. The least we can do right now is humanize these people and plead with whoever we can. I don't care if it's uncomfortable. Talk to people who disagree with you. Try to get them to understand that the people of Gaza are human beings who don't deserve this lifetime of trauma; of SUFFERING we as Americans are helping to set up for them. Plead with whoever you can and make them realize they don't deserve this.

These are war crimes. Holding someone accountable for committing war crimes is not discrimination, it's a responsibility
I'll leave this 👆 here... You Decide 🤔
To all my arthritic homies, today (12 October) is World Arthritis Day. Sending you warmth and wishing you fuzzy blankets and hot beverages!
