And there it is. WangXian Farming Fluff drabble.

I'm going to write a drabble. Because I can't get Farmer Wei Wuxian out of my head at the moment. And I need more WangXian in my life. Most of my fanfics are actually WangXian light, which is unfathomable how it keeps happening to me. One of my fics is 9 chapters in and Wei Wuxian hasn't even MET Lan Wangji!!

There is such a fine line of writing Xue Yang as a sassy little shit as he deserves and also making him have a believable relationship with WWX. Seriously, this fic I'm writing is something else. WWX just doing what he would have wanted done as a kid. And Xue Yang responding positively. He still threatens to stab people. He still runs his mouth. But now he cares about people and it is a scary care. No one better go after his family. His motivation is adoration of the Demonic Cultivator who gets his loneliness and fear and all that.

So I keep talking about my fanfics. I am going to post the first chapter of this one on Ao3 as soon as I have a little buffer of writing. But anyway, just a little doodle of Wei Wuxian as a prince in my fic. The premise is his parents are hosting a massive event for cultivators to compete for WWX hand. Hahaha. He hates it thanks. Yiling Wei are a powerful royal family (the Qishan Wen are another royal family). Wei Wuxian just wants to be seen and loved for himself. But his Chief of Wardrobe (Nie Huaisang) insists on dolling him up. And his personal guard (Jiang Cheng) is determined to keep him out of trouble. Can he get through this long event without losing his mind? What's going on with the Wen (Wen Ning) showing up to compete?

This is one of the many outfits I keep tormenting WWX and everyone else with. There will probably be more art as I continue on.
