this one is an alternate ending to the mer au, conceptualized and written side by side with the amazing @raffi-cat! I would strongly recommend you read mer au standard before this one, it's linked in the series. this won't make much sense if you don't. this au (nicknamed mer au²) started from the idea of "what if scar actually killed someone, like he wanted to from the beginning?" and quickly spiraled into nearly 25k words, still being updated! there are two chapters left to be posted, but they'll be up probably in the next week or two :]

Absolutely obsessed with @watcheraurora writing. They had me so invested reading Even Ice Walls Fall Down and I love how they write characters and storylines. I keep rereading it and I am so happy that there are so many more fics that are set in the universe because it's such a fun one to think about
