Celebrated My Birthday With Two Of My Closest Friends. We're Our Own Iron Trio.
Celebrated my birthday with two of my closest friends. We're our own iron trio.
And because we're lame, lazy geeks, we did bordgames and DVDs that turned into a pyjama party.
Sometime around 1 in the morning my mate Marc, who reminds me a lot of George from Lockwood and Co, asks:
"Are you tired?"
"A bit. Why?"
"Because you have huge bags under your eyes that weren't there a couple of hours ago."
I glare at him.
"I removed my make-up when I changed into my PJs."
He: "Oh."
That could so be Lucy and George in 20 years.

JONATHAN BAILEY Just Like Us visit, July 2023
I've read an Ominis/MC fanfic here I can't find again. (If anyone knows it, please help!). It was about Gareth making a horny potion and giving it to several boys to find out how long they can resist before getting release. Sebastian convinces Ominis to try it and than arranges an "accidential" meeting between Ominis and MC who he has a crush on.
That made me thinking about the HL boys (Sebastian, Ominis, Gareth, Leander, Everett and Amit) all taking the potion and sitting together in a room, betting who can resist temptation longest.
I imagine the Gryffindors caving first.
The Ravenclaws would be able to resist a while by concentrating on flying (Everett) or astronomy (Amit).
The Slytherins are the most competitive, so they'll be the last ones.
Sebastian knows Ominis has better self control, so I think Sebastian would physically restraint himself from taking matters into his own hands and Ominis would say that is cheating, but Seb would argue that this was never stated.
I have this idea that Holly tries to get our iron trio to help more in the house. She tries to be pedagogically and makes a chart with their names where they get a star sticker for every "good" act (doing the dishes or laundry, putting their stuff away...). The boys simply ignore it and Lucy is so annoyed by it that she stops doing any tidying up.
Holly is about to admit fail and give up on the project when a star appears behind one of the names. One she didn’t put there.
Turns out that Lockwood put it there as a "well done" gesture for a ghosthunting job.
Then more and more stars appear... For good actions at jobs, being there to listen, a cup of tea at just the right time... Soon, Holly's name is on the list, too.
And every time when one of our awkward kids wants to say "thank you", "glad to have you", "you're great" they say it with stars.
And they all keep their stickers like treasures they look at when they feel unworthy or unloved.
(And no, no one ever uses the chart for household duties.)
This article says it all:

It seems like Lockwood is totally oblivious about his feelings for Lucy, but what if he was not?
What if he knows he loves her, but thinks he can't give her what she deserves with them (especially him) in constant danger of dying and the agency barely getting by financially?
What if he is planning to make a move on Lucy when their talent has faded and the mortage is payed off?
He will totally confuse Lucy because after all these years of not showing anything beyond friendship he will ask her out and it will be a grand gesture - red roses, candle light dinner and him completely opening his heart to her.
