Celebrated My Birthday With Two Of My Closest Friends. We're Our Own Iron Trio.
Celebrated my birthday with two of my closest friends. We're our own iron trio.
And because we're lame, lazy geeks, we did bordgames and DVDs that turned into a pyjama party.
Sometime around 1 in the morning my mate Marc, who reminds me a lot of George from Lockwood and Co, asks:
"Are you tired?"
"A bit. Why?"
"Because you have huge bags under your eyes that weren't there a couple of hours ago."
I glare at him.
"I removed my make-up when I changed into my PJs."
He: "Oh."
That could so be Lucy and George in 20 years.

Something my character said in the game got my imagination running.
Remember this mini side-quest where you find the love letter at the bridge in the forbidden forest and you follow the floating candles to the candle-lit area with a table for two?
My character said: "A picnic in the forbidden forest? Some people would find that romantic."
And I replaced "some people" with "Sebastian".
Wouldn't that just be his way to ask a girl out for the first time?
I think I know which fic you’re talking about in your last post!
Was it “A Bad Idea” by sebastianwallows?

Yes, that's it, thank you!
I'd love to see Lockwood under the influence of a heavy dose of painkillers while Lucy fusses over him. And then with no verbal filter he'd start mumbling about everything he loves about Lucy, the list getting more and more ridiculous... how her hand feels in his, the way her hair looks in the sunlight, her eyerolls, her doodles on the thinking cloth, the form of her nose, how she looks half asleep in pjs with tossled hair, her movements when she polishes a rapier....
I have this idea that Holly tries to get our iron trio to help more in the house. She tries to be pedagogically and makes a chart with their names where they get a star sticker for every "good" act (doing the dishes or laundry, putting their stuff away...). The boys simply ignore it and Lucy is so annoyed by it that she stops doing any tidying up.
Holly is about to admit fail and give up on the project when a star appears behind one of the names. One she didn’t put there.
Turns out that Lockwood put it there as a "well done" gesture for a ghosthunting job.
Then more and more stars appear... For good actions at jobs, being there to listen, a cup of tea at just the right time... Soon, Holly's name is on the list, too.
And every time when one of our awkward kids wants to say "thank you", "glad to have you", "you're great" they say it with stars.
And they all keep their stickers like treasures they look at when they feel unworthy or unloved.
(And no, no one ever uses the chart for household duties.)
Ominis acts so secure and you barely notice that he is blind. But it must still be hard for him sometimes to have no idea how his surroundings look like. I sometimes read in fics that Sebastian describes things for him, but that wouldn't help. He's always been blind. He has no idea how colours look.
So I thought about something: By using legimimency you see through the eyes of the one whose thoughts you see. Would that allow Ominis to see?
I'd love a scene were Seb or MC tries that with Ominis and he is totally overwhelmed because he finally knows what seeing is like.
