Sure, George is the third wheel.
If by third wheel you mean the front wheel of a tricycle friendship, which falls apart immediately if you remove even one of said wheels, and the little toddler riding it ends up with a face-full of pavement and disappointment. The whole of 35 Portland Row would probably be reduced to ashes without him, at this point.

“Who’s the villain in Lockwood & Co?”
Capitalism.

This edit has my entire heart <3
George: Are you kidding? A chance do go ghost hunting, just the three of us? Like old times? The three musketeers! Lucy: The Powerpuff Girls Lockwood: Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey George: Wait a minute- Lucy: I'm fine with that
Celebrated my birthday with two of my closest friends. We're our own iron trio.
And because we're lame, lazy geeks, we did bordgames and DVDs that turned into a pyjama party.
Sometime around 1 in the morning my mate Marc, who reminds me a lot of George from Lockwood and Co, asks:
"Are you tired?"
"A bit. Why?"
"Because you have huge bags under your eyes that weren't there a couple of hours ago."
I glare at him.
"I removed my make-up when I changed into my PJs."
He: "Oh."
That could so be Lucy and George in 20 years.
The bridge between life and death

I want to read the Lockwood and co books from Lockwoods POV so badly. He has the emotional range of a teapot with a unknown liquid in it and I need to hear him pine after her and supress his thoughts about how wonderful she is.
This song is just Lockwood during the Black winter.
“I’m growing up but I’m not growing old”
Try to tell me that isn’t Lockwood. I dare you.
I listened to the Lockwood and co books instead of reading them. I highly recommend doing that. It just felt like a really long gossip session where your best friend is the issue.
Earlier this week I made a post stating that I believe Lucy to be Midsize. A statement that I will stand by until last my dying breath.
With this comes something that has made me adore Lockwood’s character even more. He has always made it clear (at least to me) that he thought Lucy was beautiful. That he treasures the parts of her she doesn’t like.
We see this when the Skull talks about Lucy’s hips. He mentions something about how Lockwood talks about them; and while the Skull is a sassy little shit, I still don’t think he would lie about something like that.
(My personal headcanon is that Lockwood rants to the air about Lucy sometimes and forgets that the Skull is there. )
But I have never interpreted any form of sexualisation from him. It was never a cleaver way to get her to do something or to use her. It was just him being sincere and caring towards her.
Which is why I loved reading the way Lockwood interacts with Lucy about her appearance. It was such an important and special experience to see something pure for a change.

Lucy forgave Lockwwod waaaaayy too quickly for hiring Holly when she was gone. This is not to say that I don’t like Holly or that they shouldn’t have hired someone. But when Licy was gone, really?
She had every right to be mad at him. She was excluded from a decision that should have been made by the entire agency. Not just Lockwood and George.
Doing it when Lucy was visiting her family was even lower. She’s visiting the family she ran away from and never a close or meaningful relationship with. No wonder Lucy hates Holly from the beginning (aside from all of the internalised misogyny and self hatred). All it took was for Lockwood to smile at her and suddenly it was all fine.
I love Lockwood but dude, think things through for once.

I’ve just finished reading The Empty Grave and now I don’t know what to do with myself, I’m not ready to say goodbye to 35 Portland Row

I got bored and painted the L & Co. sign from the netflix adaptation <3
L&co thought
I love thinking about if Lockwood and Co. was in our timeline how their personalities would change. Like, imagine Lockwood with a phone. I KNOW he would have his own Insta or Vlog.
Lockwood: Good morning my peeps, thanks for watching my last ghostly GRWM!!
Kipps: Whenever I see his reels I report them immediately.
*Lucy high-fives Kipps*
Lockwood: ThAtS bEeN YoU??!!!
Lockwood: We need more publicity, George, how about we make our own merch line?
George: Like what? A T-shirt with ‘Just Reckless Enough’ on it?? Or maybe a coffee mug titled, BEST ARSONIST EVER!
Lockwood: How about I knock a quarter off your salary??!
