I got mom hooked on Arrow. The problem now lies in the fact that she probably couldn't care less about the lore behind the characters and places that keep getting named or popping up.

Dots are connecting for me well we watch, but they aren't connecting for her because she's not interested in listening to me give little tidbits about the lore behind these easter eggs and how it all connects to the DCU

Danny: I have never lied to you

Dick: Yeah? What's this, then!

Danny: Phantom. I told you I've never lied to you.

Dick: Well you sure as hell didn't tell me about whatever this is!

Danny: Yes I did. When I first showed up, I told you that I used to be a hero. This is my costume change.

Dick: Costume- That's a whole ass magical girl transformation!

Danny: Excuse you! It is two rings of light changing my appearance and vitals. Not once has it rendered me naked in the swaths of colour and glitter! *scoff* Honestly, it's almost like you've never watched anything of the Magical Girl genre in your life.

Dick: Your....your vitals?

I know it'll still work, but it's more of an inconvenience than anything
