So, I just checked the deadline on a story I'm writing, and it's a lot sooner than I thought it was. It kinda snuck up on me.
What doesn't help is that I had to completely scrap previous progress and restart about a month ago.
I'm at 12,000 words currently, give or take a few, but I still have a lng way to go.
The latest deadline is July 8th.
Wish me luck, please

At work last weekend, one of my younger coworkers (gods, does that make me sound old)(he's two years younger than me) called my fascination with weapons a fetish.
It is not. I just like weapons.
For those who care, I have 5 pocket knives and 3 daggers. I have access to (my dad's blades) a katana and a long sword.
Do I know how to use them? Yes, actually. One of my daggers is molded after a sacrificial knife from Egypt. The karambit I carry I have yet to use, but I do know how. The katana is the easiest of the two swords but that's because my dad's had that since before I was born.
Anyone wanna help me grow my collection? Or send me resources on how to officially use them?
(I wanna learn how to use a war fan, too)

I ate lunch earlier and a thing crunched that wasn't supposed to crunch. Nearly an hour later, when I was eating a chocolate chip cookie, I realized why my food that wasn't supposed to crunch crunched.
The crown on my tooth came off. I now have to wait until Monday to go back to the dentist to have a crown put back on.
I'm wondering why the hell it came off in the first place, though. Aren't those things designed to stay in place? Besides, it's not even been a month.
In case you didn't know, video game soundtracks are designed to keep you focused, especially Boss Music.
Whenever I can't focus or it gets too loud when I'm writing, I turn on video game music (that doesn't have lyrics).
For some reason, the only one that has been able to keep me focused on my writing for more than an hour is Death By Glamour (MTT's Theme from Undertale).
Idky, but that's how the cookie crumbled.
Mom says that there's too many moving parts for her to like it. Dad's never heard it
