I have a love-hate relationship with editing. On one hand, I love re-reading what I made. On the other, I hate having to get rid of/change things.

My brain: This scene is really cute, but completely useless! Me: Not completely! It gives a vital piece of info about the main character My brain: A detail that you reiterate in the next scene Me: But what about this? This is saying why a different character is currently missing! My brain: Go down twelve paragraphs; we know for a fact that that gets explained later in the same chapter Me: ...Do I really have to get rid of it? My brain: Yes!

In all honesty, I just want them to watch one episode or even one of the movies so that they can understand why I love One Piece so much. But, no, "it's too long" and "I don't like how it looks" and "the story's stupid" are all I get, along with the most common "You couldn't pay me to watch [even a few seconds of] One Piece".
