Every few months Timmy will have nonstop reoccurring night terrors. He no longer dreams of his life on earth, or of his old parents. Instead, Timmy dreams of a nightmare that may befall his current family.

The Fourth Consequence of becoming a Fairy: To claim a child, a Fairy must stake their very life to do so. Should the child return, the Fairy will forfeit their own to set things right.

Sandman (the Sleep Fairy) is the only person who is aware that Timmy has these episodes. Overtime, Timmy has built a resistance to his sleeping magic, but Sandman does his best to alleviate the burdens somewhat. This is a hidden consequence, that only Timmy and his parents are aware of.

They reacted pretty negatively at first. Timmy had been a thorn for the Anti-Fairies' side when he was a human! So there's quite a bit of resentment when he fully moved into Fairy World.

Anti-Cosmo slowly came around to tolerating Timmy's presence, though! Something about Timmy taking each of his terrifying challenges head on made him grow fond of the new fairy kid. At least enough to answer Timmy's calls.

The child's body undergoes Physical Changes to become a fairy, but they also undergo a metaphysical change as well. The soul must be adjusted, shaped, broken and remade. These changes allows the child to accept magic into their body, and handle any disruptions in time or perception.

Their soul is transformed into their proper Fairy's Crown, and the child would have officially become a True Pixie! Yippiiiie!!

Thankfully, this part of the process is painless! Or, well, more like Timmy fell unconscious during it. Though Timmy says he sometimes feels strange moments of loss. Like an essential part of himself has been ripped away from where it should be.

When Peri went to Boarding School, Timmy was his “Primary Guardian” since his new apartment was closer to Peri’s school than their parents were. This meant that, on some occasions, Peri’s first call would be for Timmy instead of their parents.

Once, Peri got caught joyriding and ditching school campus against curfew. Timmy had to fly out to bail him (and Irep) out of the detention center. They crashed at his apartment while he worked with Anti-Cosmo to remove that incident from their records.
