Thinking about Hank and how he was laying outside with his baby daughter wrapped thight in his arms and her cuddled up into his fur, while he was explaining to her the stars, the moon and the world around her until she fell asleep against his chest, knowing fully well that she had understood not a single word of what he had told her.

But she was happy and so was he.

i feel like sometimes we forget that this is supposed to be a hobby . . . not a job. i'm seeing a lot of people stressing about their muse, worrying over content being post that people wont like, and while i very much understand that it can be hard to not want to please your followers, i just want to remind everyone ( myself included ) of one very important thing . . .

THIS. IS. ALL. FOR. YOU.

we are here to write together because we all love creating stories, so naturally there's going to be some working together to tell a story . . . but i wanna focus more on the other side of the hobby. we do this because it makes us happy. when we are no longer having fun . . . this is just a job you don't get paid for then.

so i guess . . . what i'm saying is to let yourself take breaks. if you aren't feeling a muse, don't write them for a bit. if you want to be present on your blog, maybe write headcanons, or make edits, or SEND MEMES TO YOUR MUTUALS. and if you don't want to be present . . . that is perfectly fine as well. you need to ultimately do what is best for you . . . in order to keep this space a fun space for yourself.

i'm so very proud of all my mutuals who are taking time to themselves, doing self car, and spending time doing what they need to do to get through the Holiday Season. it's almost over. 2024 is right around the corner . . . and WE CAN DO THIS.

i've been in the tumblr rpc since 2014, so i've watched many people start feeling bad for taking time to themselves and i just thought it was time to remind people. this is a hobby. not your job. take care of yourself. you're more important.

Little Christmas Fun Fact:

In romania and germany before the coca cola version of Santa Claus came along the kids didn't wait for him but for "Moș Gerilă" (romania translated it means something like Father Frost/Grandfather Frost) and "Das Christkind" (germany translated: The Christ child).

Even today there are people who don't say "Der Weihnachtsmann kommt" (Santa Claus is comming) but use "Das Christkind" and "Moș Gerilă". There are also still some people (mostly elderly people) who don't even know who Santa Claus is.

Another Little Christmas Fun Fact:

In germany we got a helper of St. Nikolaus (eng.: Saint Nicholas) called Knecht Ruprecht. He also helps the "Christkind" or nowdays the "Weihnachtsmann" (eng.: Santa Claus)

He visits kids that missbehaved and punish them with his "Rute" (eg.: rod).

Back in the days it was said that he would hit missbehaving kids with his rod but this kinda changed nowdays. Today he only scolds the kids and carries the sack with the gifts.

Sooo yeeeaaahhh this happened now.

I actually wanted to answer to some threads this evening but suddenly I felt so bad I even had to throw up a few minutes ago. Don't worry I'm not sick or anything I know why. Shouldn't have eat the cake with whipped cream and drink kid's punch with it. When I drank the last drop all of this started. My mother made me some tea so it should be better again soon.

But this means I won't be able to answer to a lot of threads today.

Yeah stupid me and a warning to everyone of you... don't eat cake with whipped cream and kid's punch it's really yummy but not worth it!
