so let me get this straight, the way this totally normal family travels is, kids go to airport w nanny, parents arrive sep, then ben leaves plane sep, nanny and wife and kids another, or sometimes ben arrives sep, wife and ben leave plane together, kids leave w nanny, OR ben and wife arrive at airport, nanny and kids different arrival, ben leaves alone, wife leaves w kids at another time, all meeting on the plane. this is not normal, and they are not that famous. plus, they cold blur the kids

Ben did in fact go on record saying that ever since Hal was born, if he ever has to be away from London for more than a weekend, he takes both of the babies, as well as Sophie Hunter with him.

That is a FACT.

Now.  Notice how JT Anon (who also has a satisfactory command of the English language, just like me) phrases the next part of her paragraph:

“And yet immediately after he said that, we have not seen him travelling with his kids once.  Not once.”

The emphasis on that sentence is on ‘we have not seen him’.

Ever since Ben was quoted on that German tabloid stating that Sophie and the children always travel with him when he has to be away from home for more than a weekend, we have not seen Christopher, Hal or Schrodinger Pilo travelling with Ben once.  Not a single time Nonny.

That is also a FACT Nonny.

Your sentence:

is you deriving a conclusion, based on what simple logic tells you.  The simple logic being that if Ben is photographed at an airport, but his children are not there with him, they simply aren’t there.

So, the facts stated are that:

1.  Ben said he travels with his wife and children2.  Ben has not been photographed traveling with said wife and children

Both 100% provable.

Alas, what we also have are pictures of Benedict Cumberbatch with Sophie Hunter at JFK (when they had to stay away from London for more than a weekend), but with no children around.  What’s worse we have pictures of Ben alone at Heathrow, Gatwick, JFK and LAX since then, when he had to be away from his family for more than two days in a row.

And that, Nonny, is how you read a paragraph and actually understand what you’ve just read.

It’s not that she is pregnant, it’s that it’s the same formula every award and promo season that results in product promotion and media mentions right when Bens industry is the most watched and when he needs the most promotion.

It’s not that she is simply in some stage of pregnancy, it’s that the formula is the same and utilized for max media mentions

Ben has a project to promote, and naturally those projects will be promoted the heaviest during the busiest time in his industry. He can’t get a half a dozen articles just on his work alone these days. Other than marvel, his projects are not the type that would warrant a handful of fail mentions and other tabloid and entertainment news sites

Just her being pregnant wouldn’t generate a half a dozen articles circulating his name and either piggybacking and mentioning his projects or adding his projects into the soup of media.

They have to market each pregnancy for maximum exposure, meaning the MOST articles and mentions possible on the MOST platforms possible

That means they need to bait a pregnancy. Enter weirdos signature is she or isn’t she look that gets people talkin, people looking at the couple. There would be no discussion if she were just pregnant. People need to pay attention to the media being presented, so they need the is she debate. Add onto that the dress sales and she gets a little revenue and name mentions

Then they get a handful of speculation articles. Then they double their media mentions by waiting on a confirmation. They get a handful of “she def is, but no mention yet”. Then they can get the same places to push media when it is eventually confirmed.

Then they get to market the skeptics. Other than her clown car uterus, Ben doesn’t have anything going on. The guy is not awash im interesting and challenging roles. He sure as shit ain’t not IT boy anymore, so he needs something else to spice it up. They can get people who otherwise would scroll past the is she and dress headline to actually stop and read is there is a conspiracy being pushed. Enter the PR stunt family narrative again.

It’s not that she is simply pregnant, it’s that she is pregnant the same way each time, and it’s chopped up in a way that gets the absolute most amount of media possible out of the situation. Speculation articles, confirmation articles, skeptic articles, then standard family stories, dresses etc. That’s double the potential media of just “she’s pregnant, here’s a dress”

it’s def waaay more than if they just kept it private and all they sold was her dress. There is a spectrum of least amount of media attention to the absolute most they can wring out of it. Least being not saying anything and keeping is precious for them to enjoy, and most is chopping it up like I said and getting the most amount of media possible

That’s why it’s weird, it’s because each time it’s chopped and marketed for the MOST media possible, and she just happens to be pregnant the one way/timing that that is possible every single award season since she arrived.
