Baby- Do they have any nicknames that people give them while regressed?

Names are an interesting one for these two! Neither of them strike me as nicknamey people: I think Light could pull out a 'sweetheart' in a caregiver position, but he would care more about the effect of it on the person (ie. if it helps L to calm down and regress more) than the fact that it's a term of endearment

I think that when L is regressing he goes by L but when Light is little and L is acting as cg, Light calls him Ryuzaki. It's just a helpful distinction and it helps Light feel more mundane in regression times unless L is being a playmate and then they're just two simple kiddos and names don't matter.

Involuntary- Is their age regression through choice?

No way. L might be able to see it as a logical way of resetting/relaxing, but given the fact that he doesn't sleep which is the most basic self-care...

Neither of these boys would choose a position of vulnerability, unless you put them into an AU where vulnerability and intelligence/masculinity (for Light) are not seen as incompatible by society.

I could see L resigning to it and making it part of his routine, but Light would be hanging onto his perfect image for dear life. Around L, of course, that image does slip, and I love the idea of Light letting it go entirely, considering how little it means to L (and how effectively he can see through it).

Zoo- Any animal they like? Are they also a pet regressor?

Light likes basically all predator animals: big cats, polar bears, sharks and orcas. L thinks that's pretty cool and likes sharing information about venomous snakes and spiders with Light: L is more interested in the little animals that have detailed defense mechanisms.

L likes all of the animals because he likes having fun facts about them: he's not picky about stuffed animals, he'll take whatever's soft as long as it's not a dog (he's nervous around IRL dogs and doesn't like the plush versions much either)

I could see L as a cat regressor! Sunbeam naps and head scritches. I see it less than plain age regression for him, but I think it's a fun space to explore.
