TW! GUNSHOTS! VIOLENCE! I'm sorry for bringing the political issues constantly but this is so important. Please bear with us. Hear us out.
Today Our Police and Student League goons attacked on Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University , Rajshahi University protestors again. They threw tear gasses , rubber bullets even beaten them up. We want justice. They attacked the students while they were praying Janaza Namaz (Prayer for the martyrs students).
6 Dhaka University students were killed. Some other female students were also killed. And from other districts they're are a lot of missing students. They even threw a lot of students from 6th floor to the ground. They shot us without any hesitation. The police even harmed the journalists. The student league group were ordered to use violence. Our lives matters. Please spread the information worldwide.
This is so disgusting. Our Government and Prime Minister should be ashemed! We were defenseless. Killing off our innocent students who were peacefully protesting. We want justice! The media's are silent in our country. Help us to spread this information! We need international Support and Help! The Government should step down!
I am eternally grateful to those who have liked and reblogged the post regarding the condition in Bangladesh in the last few days. But once again, we need your help, because lies are being spread intentionally against Bangladesh, and it is being said that Hindus are not safe here.
HINDUS. ARE. SAFE. IN. BANGLADESH.
Please. It takes only a moment. Share the news, stop the spread of misinformation. You can also post on various social platforms using the hashtag #HindusAreSafeinBangladesh.
The teachers are crying for their dead and captured students. Students, for talking and protesting, are getting thrown into prison vans. They are being dragged out from their own home by police at midnight. Sister is clutching her brother tightly to not let him get arrested. Rickshaw puller is saluting the students for their fantastic movement. We, general people are marching on the road, voicing our unity with the students. Teachers are saying they are students now, and the real students have taught them how to protest.Â
It's oddly beautiful and melancholic, everything that has been happening. Never have I ever saw my country rise against the dictators who have been ruling us for 15 years. They have done wrongs, wrongs, wrongs, wrongs and so much, too many wrongs-- so all this rage against them are actually builded up for years, and now it has burst out like volcano lava. Today, my siblings are out there, despite coldness and rain, shivering and singing, pointing at the police and militaries who have raised their guns against them.Â
Dictators are saying 209 people were killed, which is already terrifying, but the real number is much greater. About 900 people, including children-- shot from balconies, old people-- shot inside marchs and homes, students-- shot while protesting peacefully, and my so poor citizens, who had to go out in the road to feed their family, were killed by assaulting riffles.Â
But still, through all this pain, murder, cries, pleas, hurt and rage-- the new, young generation of Bangladesh have risen. It's absolutely mesmerizing how they are standing up against the ruling government. The hands which have held pens think twice before holding guns; so that's how we have reborn, from ashes and blood. My country. So beautiful.Â
