As the oldest daughter of the Olo’eyktan of the clan means to hold great responsibility while set the perfect picture. You have always been looked up to by the most of the teenagers your age. As for you, it has always been tiring. Even to many adults, you have been admired. You have act more matured then your age, you mind is sharp as a spear, you movements are as elegant and graceful as a falling leaf from the trees.

Your mother’s words stuck to your mind as if someone had slam a spear through your head.

Responsible: take care of who you love, even who you do not know that seemed hurt. Take care of your siblings, your parents, your people, your actions, you decisions, your motion, your emotions.

Make the decision quick and fast-

Your mumbling and training stop when an unfamiliar sound filled your ears. As your peered though the curtains of your marui, giant bird like creatures fly through the sky. The sound of your village horns blew, your sense caught up as you call for your ilu. Diving down the water and swim to where the the creatures must’ve landed.

‘Sister’ Tsireya signed towards you underwater. You nodded towards her as a greet ‘do you know what the ruckus is all about?’ You signed ‘sadly no, let’s check it out’ Tsireya respond.

The 2 of you raced to the surface as more and more people gathered, blinding what caused the attention of the village. You walk towards the crowed, when many caught the glimpse of you, men and boys hurried moving aside for you to go through. A nod and a tiny smile towards them as a thank you, didn’t even give a glance towards them.

Interesting. You thought as you stare holes into the 6 Navi standing in the middle. ‘A darker shade of blue, sharper stripes, slimmer limbs, and a smaller tail’ you have learned from your mother that there are other kinds of navi on pandora but never have you seen them. Standing behind you father, you saw the interaction between your sister and a Navi boy who you assumed the younger one standing next to his brother. Slightly cocking you brows at tsireya, amused, yet failed to acknowledge a stare burning holes into your body. While your brother Ao’nung and his friend Roxto, looked around teasing them “look baby tail” “how are they gonna swim” you sister budged in “do not. Roxto and Ao’nung!” As she smacked the boys. Their laugh died down when Ao’nung spot you standing next to Tsireya with a unpleasant glanced. Ao’nung shuts up immediately. Your mother, the Tsahik of the village, was at bit of interest. “ their tails are weak, not good in water” she sighed “their hands…” looking closer as she grabbed one of the girl’s hands looking angered. “These children are not even true Navi!” She said with her voice raised. “Yes we are!” The girl fight back. Your mother then grabbed the younger boy’s hand as she raised them up “They have demon blood!” Loud and clear, many in your village hisses and judge, while other hide away. You stood tall among them, curiosity strikes even more. The tallest one spears his fingers in front of your mother’s face “see? I was from the stars too, but we can adapt! We can adapt right?” He said glancing back at his family. They go on discussing, bickering between your mother and the woman till your father finally announced: “Toruk Makto and his family will be staying with us” earning worries glance from the villagers. “Treat them like brothers and sisters, and teach them our ways for them to no suffer the shame of being useless”. He said, then pointing towards Tsireya and Ao’nung “ my children Tsireya and Ao’nung will teach you our ways” “but father-“ Ao’nung interrupted as he tries to reason. Your father raised a hand, stopping him from continuing. “It has been decided”. Your sister wasted no time welcoming them in. While your father nudged his head down a little whispering “ you will have other jobs to do, keep an eye on them while continue your training” “yes father” you said as he pat you on the head.

As you helped them carry their things on the way to show them their marui, you can’t help but feel like someone is staring daggers onto your back, yet paid no mind cause you have gotten pretty used to being stared at everytime you leave your marui. “This is your marui!” Your sister cheerfully said. “The training will start tomorrow, today, you will prepare and rest” she continues. You put down there things, gives them a reassuring smile then walk away with your sister. “Bro try to talk to her more. You’ve been looking at her like a lost puppy for like an hour now” Lo’ak said teasingly “ha ha very informative of you, can say the same for you” neteyam sarcastic said.

“Yeah yeah at least I said hey to her and she chuckled-duh” he pressed “yeah whatever bro” neteyam rolled his eyes
