I Finally Had Time To Clean Off My Gentlemans Desk That Took A Year To Pay For Long Ago. Feels Good To

I finally had time to clean off my gentleman’s desk that took a year to pay for long ago. Feels good to step by step get my mind, body, and attitude back to my typical Brian self. Not there yet but not dragging anymore. Sometimes you just need time alone and it always helps to clear things away the fuss around you so you can really appreciate the beauty in your life-even a silly desk but mostly the people one is blessed to share your world. #nofilters #willowcreekgallery #feelingthankful #antiquefurniture #templepittmanhouse #bepatientwithoneanother (at Downtown Knoxville, Tennessee) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzmBhnrA1t_/?igshid=309wlow29j8u

Walkin’ home from dinner...Always loved The Arcade Building (Knoxville Journal Building). Good folks inside of it too. #greekrevivalarchitecture #gaystreetknoxville #knoxville #knoxvillehistory #pleasantwalk (at Downtown Knoxville, Tennessee) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByTre0Egqm1/?igshid=eahpvsoys5ta

It was gorgeous once before, it’ll be gorgeous again. I just can feel it. Charlie Barber me thinks, was more talented than his father, which is saying a lot really. His father basically invented mail order houses snd could design a new one in a day. Hell, I remember the hand painted fresco on the groin vaults. Now why on earth would anyone paint over a fresco? That’s about as wasteful as painting over mahogany. Restore that fresco then put an elegant white cloth restaurant underneath it. Exquisite.

Four Meters of Perfection
Michelangelo’s David at the School of Belle Arti Museum in Florence, Italy

Sold this one to a long time friend who happened to visit recently. One of those friends though you rarely get to see anymore, you just puck up right where you left off. I keep trying to live up to his quality of friendship but he beats me to the next level every time. Haha. Jason and I are thrilled this particular piece found an appreciative home and we appreciate his taste in art. 😉 #friendship #neverfilterart #oakspittmancollaboration #feelingthankful (at Temple-Pittman House) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx5eH4IApb-/?igshid=ana53o5bfxjp
