Little confession :)

I would’ve posted this vent on Twitter, but most of my relatives follow me on there and I honestly don’t want them to ask me questions about my mental state and such... You know? 

I’ve always had toxic people in my life. I was surrounded by them. I got so used to their existence, after some time I even started befriending some. That’s how I got to meet who I now call “ex best friends”. Sure, we had lots of fun together, but lots of times we’d have fights, they’d make stupid little comments on whatever I did, they’d make playlists for each other, they’d gift each other things, they’d play games together and I’d be ignored and left out.

All of this was so sudden. It happened within the span of a week. One day, they just decided to ignore me and give me shit to eat. For two months straight, I’d only have them over my head and how I’d get them to like me again, because apparently I did something wrong. 

One day, I gave this story an end. After endless days of being ignored, I decided that it’d be a good idea to ignore them back. Give them a piece of their own medicine, you know?

They went APESHIT. From insults to death threats, that day was the day I was at my best, yet at my worst. I got a huge weight off my chest and I was happy. On the other hand though, I didn’t feel like dealing with their bullshit and their stupid little alt accounts they used in order to bully me. 

What I wanna say right now is that I’m thankful that I got rid of them. I can’t possibly imagine how terrible my mental health would be if they were by my side til this day. I have found people who are nicer to me, stick by my side and truly love me. They make me happier than what they ever could. 

People come and go. If you’ve lost your best friend, I’m sorry. Maybe they weren’t true after all.

to add on lily’s flaws she also believes james and the marauders rather than severus (which is just bad writing imo) and she tells him to be grateful james saved his life, she also who quickly bites back once you annoy her, she also gave cheeky answers to slughorn when he suggested she could’ve been in slytherin, (i personally hate her sm for her trying to tell severus he should be grateful to james would like to hear your opinions) but yes even her, a briefly mentioned character, is very flawed!

tbh my feeling is more that she just believed a rumour that was going around the school rather than having heard it directly from james. idk obviously we dont know. but teenage girls (and boys) often believe rumours. not that weird. I actually think she wouldn't have believed it coming directly from James given how she acts towards him in SWM, but if the school generally seems to agree that it happened then it's more believable.

re: her telling Sev he should be grateful, I've talked about this before (I think in that very post about lily's flaws) but I don't read it as "you should forgive james for everything he's done" but just this kind of desperate, naive "can't we all just get along and stop fighting" sentiment. it's still not a great thing to say, absolutely it's insensitive and tactless.

however it's always interesting to me how Snape people despise Lily for that singular comment (like that's the worst thing anyone could do lol) when Sev is pretty atrocious to her in that conversation too. He completely dismisses her feelings-- like how is Lily saying he should be grateful any worse than him writing off what Mulciber did to Mary as 'just a laugh'? Sev literally ignores her because he's too focused on his hatred towards the Marauders to hear his muggleborn friend's very valid concerns about the death eater wannabes he's hanging out with.

I don't think it's fair to hold Lily to a different standard than Sev, that's my opinion. If she's insensitive towards her best friend then god is he ever. and idk teen friendships are often like that- immature. they have yet to mature

Last week i was travelling interstate and before leaving I grabbed the claw clip nearest to me, that i had been using for the past week and a half. During the two hour drive to the airport i realised the claw clip wasn’t the mine. It belonged to my best friend, who had used it to tuck my hair back when we had gone out for a meal and a walk in the park. I forgot to return it to her that day, and had been using it instead of mine, despite the fact that i made fun of it’s dysfunctional design in front of her. The highlighter pallet i use, was given to me by a friend almost three years ago, half used, and i still use it to this day. Many of my rings and earrings are now stacked away safely in my friend’s jewellery boxes. The books i own were touched by the people i loved, their pages stained with their memories. A splatter of ink, a torn edge, a broken spine.

Everything is proof that i have loved and been loved in return. And the realisation always makes my heart heavy.

Hello bloggers! I'm so happy at the moment after I lost all my followers and my post, but as I said I'm happy at the moment now that I starting slowly getting my followers back (maybe some new ones). ok so yall, i've never dated anyone right? Well, i think(?) i have a gf rn, but im lwk confused?

Cause like, I asked her out and she said yes. But, she stopped texting me, and is bringing one of her friends to our first "date" and idk what to do w/ that info?? Like, im 90% sure she likes me, but im not 100% sure, and bringing a friend doesnt seem like something you would do?

Like, before i asked her out we were texting and stuff all day, and i think flirting?? (again, never dated, idk what im doing) but after i asked her out she kinda stopped texting? supposedly, the wifi at her school is really bad, but idk.

And yk, ive got the Anxiety ®, so i dont know what to do. Besides the date where shes bringing her friend, we have another date planned for this weekend. Hopefully i will get the vibes then??
