I have returned to make Ruin struggle now

Ruin with a software equivalent of peripheral neuropathy after the virus, his hardware is fine, he made sure of that when he fixed up his body, but there was irreversible damage done even if the ruin virus didnt effect his cognitive function like the others (tho i do like to believe he got occasional brain fog from it, bc projection)

The connections to his legs will fritz or short out (with his right leg being more prone to problems), effects ranging from tingling or pain to numbness or paralysis depending on the day, stressing his systems makes things worse tho. On really unlucky days he can get hit unexpectedly by his systems just fucking forgetting he has legs for a moment while in the middle of doing something

His hands are wonked up too ofc. Tho more prone to shaking and pain than numbness. He can usually work with it—it tends to get worse as the day wears on, so he saves detail work for when his hands are steadiest—but some days are worse than others and when the pain and shakiness in his hands flares he can barely hold a bottle of water without dropping it

He used to use mobility aids and talk about his pain freely when playing up that pathetic boyfailure act, but now, especially after joining up with Nexus and Dark Sun, he hides it best he can and pretends it was all just another ploy to make them drop their guard, safer to keep such a blaring weakness as close to his chest as possible. He gets by on bad days doing whatever computer work he can come up with and praying his flare ups end swiftly.
