So, I saw one cool reference and decided to do something like this.

It's kinda implied that was what happened

In s3 Dia says that she and Sky were childhood friends, she says in s2 that she was both raised and trained to be a wife, and in all s1 she's seen with Sky's parents and comes on behalf of Eraklyon. It's very heavily implied that they were raised very close to eachother, and she literally says she was raised to be a wife

The main issue is that the show easily glosses over these things like their normal??? And implies that it's fineee bc Diaspro liked him anyway! Stockholm syndrome much?

And that's a really cool idea!! The reason Sky was acting like that was because he both wanted his own personal freedom (you can't convince me that Sky wasn't also raised to fit into a cookie cutter role too, it likely wasn't as bad as Dia but still), but still wanted to safe guard Dia because he felt insanely guilty for her situation

Cake and eat it too situation maybe, am I interpreting this right?
