Most people would tell her to just get over it, but they didn’t know what abuse she went through for years by the hand of those disgusting men.

She trusted him with her child when she was away and he was one of her best friends.

Chuckling, she raised an eyebrow as she asked, “Is your friend really shorter than you? and I thought I was short.”

the smile she had slowly melted away from her face. she looked rather unhappy. as if she just heard that her dog just died.

Chuckling as he waited for their drinks Romeo pushed some of his bangs out of his eyes, “I hop from bar to bar, but if this one has you performing often I guess I’ll have to make this one a regular on my pub-crawls.” Their drinks getting there, he threw back his shot and added, “It wasn’t bad at all.”
