hawks loves cuddling and physical touch in general
sometimes you sleep under his wings without his knowledge
he likes to be the big spoon and keep an arm (or wing) around you
his wings are sensitive especially the closer you get to his body
he loves when you touch his wings and can make him a bit vulnerable
he likes tickling you with his wings to wake you up or to tease you
you can't lie directly on top of him bc it makes his wings sore in the morning to lay on his back
most of the time you both lay on your side unless you absolutely need to lie on his chest after a panic attack, etc.
he also loves lazy cuddling on the couch after a long day of hero work
sometimes he wants to be held too and this usually occurs when his wings have been damaged and it takes a couple days for them to regenerate so they don't take up as much space
all in all he loves cuddling and wouldn't hesitate to initiate them or express the need to be held
