The thought of anyone at Alex's grave, begging the lord for just a few more minutes sickened them. The veldigun knew this. The reminder that it staying there would hurt them stayed scratching at the back of its head. It couldn't pry itself away from the grave.

It didn't understand. Its never had to deal with loss. It was always the one causing it, with no remorse or sympathy for the people it killed.

It tried going to the library Alex used to go to for information, but all they did was scream and run. It didn't know how to deal with these feelings. It couldn't.

Attempts of bringing them back, by offering flowers of different kinds, stealing books from stored on their favorite things, building things out of sticks from the nearby trees. Desperate crying and scratching, screaming for them to come back. Nothing worked.

It couldn't bring itself to leave.

that being said, you guys know that drawing of Clyde at Alex's grave?

well do I got some silly words

Tired and injured, they collapsed at a lake. Breath heaving as they attempted to compose themselves. They got onto their knees, hands to the ground as they stared into the lake. The pain was so unbearable. they could throw up.

Hands desperately gripping at the soil for some type of grounding, as wide eyes stared back at the reflection.

They could feel the wet dirt slipping from their fingertips, and in what seemed like just a flash, their hands had slipped into the lake, almost taking their head with it.

It hurt too much to struggle to get their hands above water, the soil underwater gripping their hands in a way that made it feel like a trap.

Slipping more, they could feel their bloodied and bruised knees make contact with the water. It burned.

They knew they were sliding forward. It hurt too much to try and stop it. They couldn't recall the feeling of their arms sinking deeper, but they felt the water get up to their shoulders.

One last struggle, before they decided it wasn't worth it. They took a deep breath, before relaxing, and letting themselves slip into the water.

It was freezing. They saw a glimpse of the lake floor, before shutting their eyes. It burned so much to be under water, the cold water clashing with their wounds.

It was cold. They were cold.
