So I had a thought, since Alex presumably lives alone in doai and the many au's out there before shenanigans ensue. Do they own the home they're in, is it their family's home, do they have human roommates/living family, do they rent? I was wondering since Alex is an adult in the late 1980's/early 1990's in Canada, logistically how would they be able to afford that. Or is the Lankmann Foundation paying for their home or just pay that well in general for them to live alone?
