All in all, you suppose that having the Happiest Ghost in the World™ possessing your body had its perks. 

For starters, you are allowed to become the lazy motherfucker that you are truly meant to be. You can just close your eyes and let your ghost move you as he pleased and allow him to take control instead. In fact, all of your household chores have settled to the back of your mind because of this, and while your ghost has undoubtedly chastised you for that many times, he continues to do them for you regardless.

So really, the only major drawback from being possessed is that every time you want to do something else, you pretty much have no say in the matter.

“Hoseok, I know you’re trying to do this for my sake, but I don’t think wearing an all yellow ensemble is going to help me get over my depression,” you deadpan, your body already moving on its own accord. 

Your mouth suddenly moves without your consent, your voice sounding deeper than what anyone would expect a young woman to sound like. “Y/N, of course yellow clothes will help you get over your depression! It’s not called the happiest color for nothing!” 

The sun has barely risen up above the horizon, and while normally you’d still be dead asleep until noon, Hoseok had decided when he had first possessed you that the both of you were going to be early risers from now on. You can barely count the number of times you had suddenly found yourself standing in front of your kitchen, with an entire buffet laid out in front of you like a goddamn culinary masterpiece. You didn’t even know how to pour yourself a bowl of cereal sometimes, much less prepare a perfect eggs benedict.

Bad To The Bone

Summary: leather jackets are such a cliche, but it doesn’t stop you from looking (bad boy!au)

Warnings: sex; yes, there will be sexy times

The raucous youths at the neighbouring table makes you sigh with annoyance. It’s no longer a strange sight to see one or more members of the group causing a scene in the cafeteria, and today, the culprit seems to be none other than Jung Hoseok.

“Does he think he’s cool wearing that leather jacket?” your best friend asks. “This isn’t Grease, and he sure as hell is no Danny Zuko.”

“They’re like the desperate wannabes from Mean Girls,” you reply, looking over to see Hoseok up on the table, lewdly dancing to a song he is not doing a good job of singing. “But worse.”

Your friend laughs loudly, and all of a sudden there’s are multiple pairs of eyes on you. Seeing your eyes on him, Hoseok grins.

“Like something you see, sweetheart?” he says, his friends cackling loudly. You roll your eyes.

“Settle down, you Taeyang-wannabe,” you reply, standing up and gathering your things. “You have nothing I wanna be looking at.”

His friends ohhh and clap, nudging Hoseok teasingly, who remains unaffected, watching you walk away.

“Oh, that’s nice.” You say, still confused, “So, what’s the big deal? You normally don’t have issues with noisy people, don’t even try.”

“Okay, fine.” She snaps, “Both of them are Alphas, okay? Both of them. Are. Alphas.”

“There are tons of Alphas in the building, girl, you need to chill.” You roll your eyes, “Besides, we’re just Betas, not… I dunno, Omegas or something. We don’t need to worry so much about it.”

“That’s true, but.” She shivers, “I just saw one of them outside, dude. He’s like, the Alphaest Alpha to ever Alpha. Like, his gaze could turn you into a pile of ashes on the spot.”

“If you had to give me a paper plate award, what would it be for?”

“What?” You look up from your computer and give Hoseok a confused look. “Paper plate award?”

“Yeah, you know,” he says. “It’s just like any award or superlative or whatever–best runner, most likely to start world war three–but you write it on a paper plate and make it pretty.”

“Yeah, but–I just–I don’t know. I don’t know what I’d give you.” You purse your lips, thinking.

“Oh.” Hoseok looks a bit disappointed–you feel bad, since it’s Hoseok. He’s supposed to be happiness and sunshine and rainbows. Not–disappointed.

“Uh,” you say, thinking fast. “I’d give you the uh–uh, happy award? Because you’re happy?” You almost smash your face into the desk out of sheer embarrassment; you could’ve said something like, “Because you make me happy,” or whatever, because although it may be cheesy, it still would’ve made sense.

And it also would’ve been true.

Either way, Hoseok seems to excuse your bullshit response and smiles brightly–almost too brightly–at you. “Really?” He says. “That’s cool.”

“Y-Yeah,” you say nervously. “Why, though?”
