Requested: Ateez's reactions to their short s/o tries to jump on the countertop to reach something.

A/N: I am so sorry it took me a while to actually get to this. But hopefully, you still enjoy it! Sorry for any mistakes.

Seonghwa: When he sees you trying to jump on the countertop. He rushes over standing behind you with his arms out ready to catch you if you fall. "Y/n, what are you doing?" He would ask in a slight panic. All you wanted to do was get your favorite snack without bothering your boyfriend. When you almost fell back. Seonghwa freaks and helps you down, scolding you a bit before he reaches up to grab your snack for you.

Hongjoong: At first he doesn't pay any attention to what you are doing. He watches you jump up and down to try to get what you want. "Uh, Y/n do you need help?" he would ask. You'll tell him "N-No I got it." As you struggled to get what you wanted. He would watch you as you climb up the countertop. He's scared thinking you were going to hurt yourself. He stands behind you. Carefully watching each of your movements. His reflexes are fast when he thinks you made a wrong move. Stressing him tf out.

Jongho: He rushes up to you when he sees you on the countertop trying to reach for your favorite package of Ramen. “You're going to hurt yourself y/n here. Let me help you.” He would say. But you're very adamant about getting the ramen yourself without his help. “I got this!” You would say. But clearly, you didn't then slip off the countertop scaring the shit out of Jongho. He catches you. Checking to see if you are okay.

San: When he walks into the kitchen and sees you trying to jump up on the countertop. He comes over to you. “Are you trying to hurt yourself?!” He would say. He has told you a million times if you couldn't reach something, come and ask for his help. But there was that part of you that wanted to be independent enough to get something yourself without his help. “I'll get it for you.” he's sweet about. Kisses the top of your head.

Yeosang: Seeing you on the countertop puts him in protective mode. He tries not to freak out because he doesn't want you to freak out because he's freaking out. He uses a gentle voice as he talks to you helping you down. He knows you have been trying not to bug him about getting things for you that were high up. But Yeosang would rather you bug him nonstop to get whatever you wanted. “Y/n, what if you were to hurt yourself?” He would say. A kiss to your hairline.

Mingi: He watches you for a second to see what you're trying to do. When jumping up, trying to grab the cereal doesn't help you. You decide to climb up the countertop. He rushes up to you looking up at you. “Get down before you fall!” He would say. Of course, you didn't think you would fall. You did this a bunch of times when he wasn't home, so you were good until you tried getting down with the cereal and fell into Mingi. He scolds you but makes sure his girl isn't hurt.

Yunho: Yunho had gotten you a step stool a few months ago. That way, you could use it to reach for what you needed. But according to you, you were tall enough to reach for anything and refused to use the step stool. So when he walks into the kitchen and sees you on top of the countertop trying to get bowls for dinner, he's a little upset and afraid you would fall if you weren't careful. He helps you down and flicks your forehead and you pout. “Listen here shorty use the step stool next time. I don't care how tall you think you are, but you're too short to be doing this. You could hurt yourself and I don't wanna see my girl hurt.” he would tell you.

Wooyoung: He did freak out seeing you on the countertop. He's cussing in Korean and trying to get you to come down. You roll your eyes at your boyfriend as you reach for a package of your favorite cookies. “Y/n are you crazy? Why didn't you ask for my help?” he would say as he helped you down. “Because I could get it myself.” You would tell him. He pinches your cheeks. “No, you couldn't if you were climbing up on countertops. Next time, get a chair or come get me.”

Bangchan: For Bangchan the moment he realized he was in love with you was when you were asleep in his bed. You always slept in his bed when you spent the night and Bangchan always took the sofa. That morning Bangchan walked into his room and suddenly stopped to stare at you as you slept. Little things that he knew about you suddenly turned into big things he wanted to hold onto forever. He starts to think about what going to bed with you every night would feel like. And waking you up in the mornings with soft kisses to your face.

Hyunjin: For Hyunjin the moment he realized he was in love with you was when his members pointed out how he would smile every time he talked about you. At first, he denied that he was in love with you because you're his friend and often times friends turning into lovers never ended well. Hyunjin was more scared of losing you as a friend but he started to play with the thoughts of you and him together. From little softer thoughts of you and him dancing in your dimly lit living room to your favorite song while laughing and to you playing with his fingertips while you talked about your day as he listened.

I.N: For I.N the moment he realized he was in love with you was when you smiled at him. There was just something different about this smile that differed from the dozen you would give to him on the daily. I.N thought maybe he was imagining things with that one smile. But all your other smiles after that one felt like summer. Your smile did things to him he couldn't really explain. So he would start telling you how beautiful your smile was just to watch your smile grow even bigger until your cheeks hurt. I.N wanted to be the only person that could see your summer smile and feel the warmth of it In his soul. Some people might tell him it was just a smile. But it wasn't. It was a smile from you, the one person that stole his heart.

Seungmin: For Seungmin the moment he realized he was in love with you was when leaving you at the end of the night was something he didn't want to do. He wanted to stay with you late into the night, even if you two run out of things to talk about. He didn't care as long as he was with you, that's all he cared about. So when he walked you from work or school he would walk a little slower just to have a little more time with you. And when it came time for him to say goodbye, he couldn't just say it. He hugged you. His arms tighten around you. Seungmin needed that closeness. When he's alone in his bed he could still feel your warm body against his.

Lee Know: For Lee Know the moment he realized he was in love with you was from your laughter. To others, there wasn't anything special about your laugh but for Lee Know your laughter was refreshing like cold rain against hot skin. When he started noticing little things within your laughter, he would ask the members if they noticed those little things too, but they didn't. It was like those little things you could even call them moments were only meant for him. Lee Know wanted to spend forever with you and your laughter.

Changbin: For Changbin the moment he realized he was in love with you was when you made him feel like a person and when you were there with him at his lowest. He liked how well your soul complemented his and he liked how you two could speak with each other without using words. It was that understanding of him that he adored about you because no one ever really took the time to get to know him besides his members. And like how you understood him, Changbin took his time learning more things about you that he didn't know before. Those unknown things would become something special to him. He would make notes on his phone when he found out something new. Like your favorite ice cream flavor, what books were your favorite, and why your favorite color was your favorite color.

Felix: For Felix the moment he realized he was in love with you was when you would wait for him to be done with practice. No matter the weather you would always wait for him. And For Felix that said a lot. He liked it though, always looking forward to seeing your pretty face after a long day. The way he would hug you once he was close enough to engulf in a sweaty hug, felt like a forever hug. Forever hugs were nice and felt like home especially coming from a person who realizes they're in love. Felix took that moment to get lost in your scent. You always smelt like something nice. After he told you he liked a certain fragrance that you wore, you wore it more often just for him. Felix would return the favor of waiting for you, always with cake or something you both would eat together at his place or yours. He could do this every day, waiting for you.

Han: For Han the moment he realized he fell in with you was when you said his name. The way you would say his name was different from how you would say the other members' names and Han wondered if you noticed how your voice was sweeter with his name. For Han, his name became his favorite when coming for you. At random there would be times Han would ask you to say his name and when he asked for you to say his name again he would smile with love-struck eyes. He could listen to you say his name every day.

Requested: how would the members act with a s/o needs to wear glasses especially when they have to drive but they don't.

A/N: so I added some cute little moments. I hope you don't mind. (⁠｡⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠)

Yeosang: yeosong helped you pick out a frame. He couldn't stop telling you how cute you were going to look with the glasses. But he does have to remind you to wear your glass when you first get them. Especially when you're going to be driving. “I can see without them.” You would say a dozen times. And Yeosang would say, “You sure about that? Like I value my life a little too much, just put on your glasses Y/n, please.”

Jongho: it took him a couple of days to get used to you wearing glasses. To him, you look like a different person with your glass on. He would playfully joke with you whenever you tried to him kiss. “Ma'am, I have a girlfriend. Please control yourself.” He would say. And when you took off your glasses. He would act all surprised, saying, “Y/n! There was this strange girl trying to kiss me!” then when driving with Jongho he noticed you aren't wearing your glasses and he freaked out a bit saying “Y/n, don't you need your glasses to drive?” and you would say, “I do...but I can totally see without them.” and then hit a curb.

San: If you fell asleep with your glasses on, San would carefully remove them. And if you leave your glasses somewhere, he would bring them to you reminding you that you needed to wear them. You aren't used to wearing glasses just yet, so oftentimes you wouldn't have them on, especially when you know you would be driving for the day. “Your glasses Y/n.” He had grabbed them before leaving out the apartment. “I don't need them.” You would say. And San would look at you with a questionable look. “Put them on. I don't need you hitting anything or anyone.”

Seonghwa: When you did anything without your glasses, Seonghwa would put your glasses on your face. He would stress the importance of you wearing your glasses. “They are to help you see, so you need to wear them, Y/n.” he would say. Then when it came to driving, Seonghwa mostly drove because at the time you couldn't see well without glasses, but when you finally got glasses, you wanted to drive again. “Glasses, where are they?” he would ask you. “My bag.” you would say. Seonghwa digs into your bag and takes out the eyeglass case and puts your glasses on you. “We don't need an accident, Y/n.”

Hongjoong: He liked you with glasses even if you didn't like them on you. Hongjoong even bought you a couple of cute chains for your glasses. That way, you could style your glasses with your outfits. He would always make sure you had your glasses when driving now. When Hongjoong didn't ride with you, you never bother putting on your glasses. “Y/n, your glasses put them on now.” he would remind you. That's one reason he bought the glasses chains. That way, your glasses were around your neck at all times, so you would remember to wear them, especially when driving, but most times you would forget they were even there. “Geez, okay, I'm putting them on. But I really don't need them.” You would say. “You really do.” he would tell you.

Yunho: He got matching couple glasses with you. It was just something he thought would be cute to do. That way, you wouldn't feel insecure or anything when you wore yours. Your glasses would randomly end up smudged with fingerprints and cleaning them yourself only made it worse. So You would always ask Yunho to clean them for you since he was so good at it. Wearing glasses took some getting used to and remembering to wear them when you got ready to drive was a thing you and Yunho had to go through each time you two got in the car. “You know what I'm going to tell you.” he would say. “Glasses... right...” but you never put them on and Yunho would have to fight with you to wear your glasses for your safety and his.

Mingi: You wearing glasses reminded Mingi of Clark Kent (superman) because to him it's like you took on a different identity when you wore them and when you didn't you were just Y/n without them. So yeah, he would tease you about it. Like some of his members, he always made sure you had your glasses, especially when you were cooking something you needed to read instructions. Then when it came to driving, you never wore them even though you should. Mingi hadn't noticed you weren't wearing them until you were already pulling into the parking lot of the store. “You drove this far without your glasses on?!” he freaked a little. You nodded. “Yeah...it's not a big deal.” He flicks your forehead saying. “Y/n, you know you're supposed to wear them when you're driving. Now put them on.” Unfortunately, you left your glasses somewhere you couldn't remember, but you didn't want to tell Mingi that.

Wooyoung: He bought you a cute little eyeglass holder to put your glasses on for when you aren't wearing them and that way you wouldn't misplace them, but sometimes you did. Wooyoung liked how the glasses added to your cuteness factor even when you thought you didn't look all that cute in them. He would take off-guard photos of you with your glasses. His favorite one was when you were in the middle of pushing your glasses up. Like San, if you fell asleep with your glasses on, Wooyoung would carefully try to take them off you without waking you up. Then when it came to driving, you never wore your glasses at all. You just forgot to put them on each time so when in the car with Wooyoung, he would be staring at you. “What?” you would say. “Aren't you forgetting the most important thing?” he would say. “No.” you would say. “Your glasses.” he would say. “Oh yeah, those things.” you would say.

A/N: The song lyrics will be written into the ff. Wrote this on a whim because I really love this song and couldn't help but think of Namjoon for this. Sorry for any mistakes.

BEFORE: “I can't wait to show you where I grew up.” You tell Namjoon one night. This will be his first time meeting your family, and seeing where you grew up that made you into the woman you are today. You were going to show him your favorite places and take him to all the best spots. You'll walk Namjoon around the foothills of your town. After hearing you talking about your hometown for six months now; It's like Namjoon has been there before. Walked the asphalt streets, tasted the local foods, and saw the landmarks. He wanted a real feel of it, though. He'll fall in love with your hometown and your family like he has with you.

It's the morning of your trip to your hometown. You and Namjoon are packing.

“We'll probably have to sleep in separate bedrooms.” You tell him as you move around him to get to your suitcase. He doesn't mind the separate bedrooms. You have told him the kind of people your parents are and he respects that. He'd asked you question about your mama, then your dad, and then your little sister.

“You think they'll like me?” Namjoon asks.

“Yes. I told them so much about you and they can't wait to meet the guy who has taken good care of my heart.” You smiled at Namjoon. You would spend all night on the phone with your little sister telling her how great of a guy Namjoon was until your mama told her it's time for her to get to bed.

You look over the clothes that Namjoon has in his suitcase. “Pack a shirt for church because we'll go.”

He has a nice black button-down that he packs. You sit on the bed next to Namjoon's suitcase. Bringing home someone new was nerve-wracking. You rub the palm of your hands on your blue jeans.

“Uh, Listen.” You said. “I'm not trying to scare you off, but I thought we should talk a few things out. Before we hit the road.”

Namjoon moves his suitcase over on the bed and sits next to you. His pinky finger resting on top of yours. His way of saying I won't be scared off.

You rest your head on his shoulder as you talk to him.

First, you warned him about how quickly your mama falls in love a little faster than you do. She would immediately pull Namjoon into a warm welcoming hug that'll make him feel like he was home. She'll make him a big home-cooked meal with her favorite recipes that's been passed down from generation to generation.

Then you warned him about your dad. How he would check the tires on Namjoon's car and make sure the engine sounds good. You told Namjoon your dad will pour him whiskey over ice and want to hear his views about the current events of the world. Then he'll take Namjoon fishing and pretend that he doesn't like him.

Of course, you told Namjoon that if he ever broke up with you, he wouldn't be just breaking your heart but theirs too.

Then there was your little sister you really had to warn him about. How she would ask him a million questions, say anything she can to turn him red. She'll ask if he's going to marry you while she paints his nails fuchsia pink.

Then you warned him about your high school friends. They'll buy him drinks and fill him in on the crazy nights you can't outlive. And how they'll get him to play truth or dare to initiate him into the friend group.

AFTER: It was only two months later when you showed up back in your hometown, standing on the steps of your childhood home without Namjoon this time. When your mama opened the front door, the first thing you did was hug her and breakdown in her arms. She knew without you even telling her. Your mama felt every heartache you've ever been through. So she understands when mangle sobs push their way up your throat into the warm air of the house. Namjoon had been the one. So you thought. There were forevers and forevers in his words, yet forever meant nothing to him.

Then there was your dad who hated seeing his little girl all broken up over some guy. He'll pour you whiskey over ice and He'll tell a lie and say Namjoon ever really liked you. But your dad could see how that boy looked at you like you were the stars shining in his world. Of course, your dad couldn't hate him, and neither could your mama.

Then there was your little sister who curled into your side, wiping your tears. While saying something like: “He really did love you, Y/n. But you know, love can scare people away sometimes, especially when they never experience true love, so they run because it feels like a lie, like all the other love they had before. Maybe that's Namjoon's reason.”

He broke their hearts more than yours.
