Can't believe I'm saying this but the weather is slowly changing in Gaza again and it rained quite heavily this week. Knowing this while literally 90% of Gaza's population has been displaced, many living in makeshift tents, is a terrifying thought. Since last week's rain, many people are left without a place to stay and their belongings destroyed by the rain.
The cost of tents is between $700 and $800 which is beyond practically everyone in Gaza right now. However, the Sameer Project are crowdfunding and providing these families with tents. You can help out by either donating and/or sharing their initiative with your friends and community members.

Don't laugh at people or mock people who are "childish". People are allowed to like things that are considered "childish". Toys, kids cartoons, anything like that can be a valuable source of comfort for the people who like them. It's important to have things in life that make you happy, and without them it gets miserable. Wether that thing is stuffed animals or cooking or writing lyrics, what's important is that others don't ridicule and belittle them for it. There shouldn't be such judgement for the things that make people happy.

Hello, I'm Jawad, I'm 60 years old, and I live in Gaza with my family of 7 people, 24 years old, Karam is 22 years old, Reham, Baha'a 21 years old, and Shahd 18, and she must have finished high school and be this year at the university, but the war has come and destroyed her future, and he witnessed that she is a talented girl in drawing and she has many drawings. And we live in harsh conditions amid a fierce war that completely destroyed our lives. We were bombed more than once and miraculously escaped death. I suffer from chronic heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure, but I have always been my family's sole breadwinner. I need constant catheterizations to maintain my health.
Our conditions got worse with the arrival of winter. We now live in a torn tent that does not protect from the cold, and we have no ingredients to protect from the harsh winter. We have to light the fire to cook food, and there is no privacy or comfort in the place where we live. Conditions are unbearable, and we have nothing to help us survive in these harsh conditions.
In addition, our 7-story house was bombed and completely destroyed, leaving us homeless or safe. Despite my critical health situation, I still have the responsibility to support my family and meet their needs. I need your help. Help Khalid Sisters in Gaza not to be Homeless
Hello Dear,
We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalid’s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.
Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.
Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.
We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. My family of ten lived a simple, stable life before the war took everything from us. After the bombing, our home was completely destroyed, and we were forced to live in a tent in Deir al-Balah, facing unbearable conditions.
- **My father** suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, struggling to receive regular treatment.
- **My mother** also suffers from hypertension, enduring pain in these harsh conditions.
In addition to our material losses, five members of my family were seriously injured, and we lost our sole source of income after the destruction of the stores that sustained us.
My Brother Ahmed and His Children: A Growing Struggle
My brother Ahmed lives in northern Gaza, where he is facing extreme difficulties in providing food and medical care for his three children:
- **Amir** suffers from a skin condition caused by the severe living conditions in the tent and the extreme heat. He needs specialized medical care.
- **Muhammad**, who has polio, is seeing his condition worsen due to the lack of proper medical treatment.
Winter Makes Things Worse
With winter setting in, the hardships have only intensified. The tent we live in does not provide enough protection from the freezing cold and rain, and we lack the essential winter clothing. We urgently need:
- **Winter clothes** for all family members to keep warm.
- **A new, sturdier tent** to protect us from the cold and harsh weather.
- Along with **medicines, food, and medical care**, which remain crucial for survival.

The summer I turned eighteen, I had the opportunity to work as a TA at a local elementary school; as you might imagine, the work was demanding but rewarding. Even now, two years later, I think of my former students fondly; I wonder about how they’re doing now, I realize with a jolt that they must be entering second or third grade. How the time has flown!
But invariably, my thoughts turn towards the countless Palestinian kids who are not so lucky; who have had their rights to an education — if not their lives — stolen from them. Tulin, Malak and Kamal (@basmaalghoul's children) are just three of these kids; Israel’s violence has completely upended their lives, and the Al-Ghoul family has made the unfathomably difficult choice to evacuate Gaza to start over.
Currently they are at 35,672 Swedish krona ($3,463 USD) out of a total goal of 400,000 Swedish krona ($38,833 USD); however, their temporary short-term goal is to get to 40,000 Swedish krona ($3,883 USD).

The story of Ahmed Al-Saidi
My name is Ahmed AlSaidi, I currently live in Gaza Strip under this horrifying war with my wife, 3 children, my elderly parents and my brothers Osama, Moatasim, and Mohammed with their families.
We once lived in safety and peace, each having their own home which provided us with happiness, warmth, and love. I was working as a dental technician and supporting my family.
But after the war started on the 7th of October, we were under bombing, dead bodies were every where, so we were forced to leave our house a night before it was under bombing, it was a miracle that we remained alive. We were forced to be displaced many times and now we live in tents in Deir al-Balah. Our conditions now are miserable and unhuman without any income and thus we are unable to provide life essentials to our families such as medicine, clothing, cleaning products and food for our children. Every thing becomes more expensive. The lack of hygiene, water and living in tents with sand and insects caused a lot of diseases, like skin rash, hepatitis b, fever, and cold.
This horrific war destroyed our lives, taking away our homes, jobs, safety, and tragically claiming many of our relatives. So we created this campaign to:
1_Provide medical care for my eldery parents who are suffering from many chronic diseases, high blood pressure, and heart problems.
2. Provide urgent health treatment to Qusay, a 4 years old child who has speech problem and need psychological and speech therapy.
3. Provide essential living needs to survive, like food, clothes, water to drink, and medicine.
4. Winter is coming and we urgently need to move from the tents and rent a house to protect our children from cold.

I would like to share the story of Khaled Smeer, who once lived a stable life as the manager of one of the largest malls in Gaza. In addition to his management role, Khaled worked as an English translator, leading a busy life filled with activity and interaction with others. He lived in northern Gaza with his family, and everything was going well until the war broke out.
As the conflict intensified and the bombings escalated, Khaled’s home was completely destroyed. In a matter of moments, he and his family lost everything they had; no home to shelter them and no resources to rely on. Life was no longer the same. Now, Khaled lives in northern Gaza, where conditions worsen every day. They are struggling with severe hunger, with no access to the basic necessities of daily life—no food, no clothing, and no safe place to stay.
In the face of this tragedy, Khaled decided to start a campaign asking for help. He isn’t just asking for himself, but for all those who suffer like him. Khaled is trying to leave Gaza in search of safety and a chance to start over. However, he faces a significant obstacle: it costs 5,000 USD per person to leave when the border crossing opens.
